Loved my three day stay. Very quirky & comfortable rooms. Free WI FI .Lovely being able to people watch from my balcony. Noise didn't really bother me once the double windows were closed it shut out most noise. Very good value for money, & wonderful location. I believe it's just been bought by new owners - a lovely young couple!.... More

The location in the heart of the old town is great. Friendly, helpful staff. Small rooms, small beds. The whole place needs redecorating and new carpets. The bedrooms were clean but the public areas and corridors were poorly lit and looked grubby. Parking is not available on site but there is an underground car park about 5 minutes walk away.

The staff were friendly, location is good, but it's next to a cafe where all they seem to do is scrape metal chairs on cobbled streets all day and night. There was also a crazy woman who kept shouting all night. Hotel Curial down the road is cheaper and better.

Uncomfortable bed and noisy surroundings (especially in week-ends) makes this centrally located hotel a bad place to sleep. It seemed to attract noisy customers too. Amenities and breakfast are basic. Our bathroom had insufficient privacy ( no curtains) and could be observed in full light from the house opposite the street ( though nobody seemed to live there). There are... More

This was the second visit at the hotel and I have to say that the quality of the service had improved a lot in the last months. The owner was nicer, actually very friendly, and gave me a very very cozy single room, which I really appreciated. Clean and silent atmosphere, perfect internet connection. Nice place!

My friend and I booked this hotel without reading Tripadvisor first as we had been travelling up from the South of France and had no access to the internet! The hotel was mentioned in the Rough Guide to France and it said that the rooms were sound proofed which set alarm bells off so when we rang to check availability,... More

We chose the Best Hotel in Chambery after looking at the pretty rooms on the website. We wanted a location near enough to go skiing. Little did we know that when we arrived there nothing about the room we were given resembled the one shown on the website. There was no space to move around the bed; a table from... More
