Great hotel very comfortable after our big rid over the Italian alps and into France rooms were very comfortable, hot showers, staff very friendly and helpful. Handy to town centre and an easy walk to old part of the city. Briancon is highest town in E U

This big hotel is very close to the centre of town but be aware that if you want to visit the old quarter you going to have to walk at the very steep hill. My room was clean and comfortable and the bed exceptionally so. There was a good view from the window. There is no air conditioning so in... More

I spent 3 days at this hotel when skiing the Serre Chevalier valley. Location is good - near to telecabine, ski shops, passes etc. Hotel looks a bit tired, but standard of service and welcome were very good. All staff were enthusiastic and thoroughly professional. Breakfast was very good - a wide range of options, and good quality. I enjoyed... More

We booked this hotel very last minute not really knowing what to expect. Being a teacher, I am always aware that you pay through the roof for hotels during school holidays but in this case I wasn't too aggrieved to do so. The hotel is a little bit more than basic. The room was larger than average for a ski... More

Room was below average. The carpeting was very dirty and stained. The bathroom was average, but clean. Thankfully the bed was comfortable and sheets clean. This was booked through a tour company for the tour de France. Based on other reviews I would not have booked this on my own.

Read all reviews before booking last minute. Yes requires full payment with ability to cancel before 24 hr booking. Wifi was extra cost. Attached to bar/restaurant on first level. Carrefour City Market across the street as are many small shops, restaurants, nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. 45 minutes to Grand Depart of Tour time trial.

This hotel requires full payment in advance. We learned the hard way that it is not possible to cancel under any circumstances without having purchased their "trip cancellation insurance". Be advised!

If you want a hotel that is convenient for the gondola and skiing it's a good choice. In the streets opposite there are a number of bars and restaurants. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are fine. The only real drawbacks are the hotel lacks a bar and the wifi although free is painfully slow.

Just arrived back from a weeks stay..we got a great deal through Expedia, booking last minute. Overall it was excellent..the location is very central, it is only a 5-10 min walk to the cable car....and if that is too far to carry your skis, you can keep them in overnight storage in a ski store nearby. From that same point... More

We literally just came back from a 5 night stay in this hotel, and we would definately recommend it! We booked it last minute as we only decided to go snowboarding on the day we booked it. I'd read some of the reviews, some of which weren't great, but on the basis that it was quite cheap and in a... More
