Just back from doing the Arnados to Fisterra trek with a mate (the lighthouse to lighthouse walk). Stayed in 9 hotels & guesthouses en route - this was the best. Stayed Wednesday 8th October 2014, arrived in at 4, and asked if the kitchen was closed - the response was that if we were hungry it was open and what... More

When we first arrived in Lires, we were a little let down because the hotel looked just like a bar and the view was nice but included a rather industrial looking fish farm. We totally changed our vies within a shirt time of arriving. Lires is spectacularly beautiful( walk to the beach bar to see what we mean) and the... More

It was a hard walk to get to this hotel on The Camino to Muxia, as there are no bars until you get here. It's worth it for the views & sunsets, the beautiful bedroom and good food and friendly staff. I was able to dry some clothes on the balcony thanks to the warm weather whilst having a drink... More

As Eiras would seem to be at the center of the local community. As a group of friends with families, and a day left in Finisterre, we pushed on for another days walk, I, with blisters, taxied ahead with packs. lovely beaches nearby. Service provided Paulo?, who speaks english, and family ?(I think) was excellent, and also one of the... More

Lires is a very small community so this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The room was lovely, with a balcony! We had dinner in the restaurant and had a wonderful plate of fresh seafood. Pablo who served us, made the meal even more enjoyable. Ths hotel is worth stopping at on your Camino journey. A really good experience.

Found this on Trip Advisor and booked it for one night on our Santiago - Camino Fisterra walk. What a find! We were well looked after by the young couple who run the place. It's in a lovely village on a really pleasant part of the Camino. The room was very nice and we were impressed by the decor of... More

Walked from Astorga to Santiago de Compostella and onwards from Finisterre to Muxia.I needed a halfway stop between Finisterre and Muxia as no Albergues / Refugios available. As Eiras is a small Restaurant/bar and B&B in Lires that was a pleasure to stay in.The ensuite bedroom was of an excellent standard and spotlessly clean.Excellent value for money and would highly recommend...
