5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 NEW

I stayed 5D/4N in the beautiful Berraco del Madidi Camp. Leopoldo was my guide and he was great. We walked a lot every day, mostly in silence so the animals wouldn't hear us and every once in a while Leopoldo would stop and explain me something about a plant or approaching animals (which he could hear from far away). We... More

I spent 3 days in Berraco del Madidi with my girlfriend and I can totally recommend the organisation to anyone who wants to get an impression of the nature and wildlife in the bolivian djungle. The team is nice and friendly, they give guests a warm welcome and although they cannot promise you to see the best animals and awesome... More

Had an incredible experience in the jungle. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Pedro is lovely and knowledgeable and the food and site amenities are excellent. A highlight was the community visit where you lunch with Pedro's parents as well as dining on a huge catfish ably landed by one of our tour party. Met lovely people on the trip and... More

We had THE most incredible five days with Berraco Del Madidi and I cannot recommend them enough. We spent a long time researching and thinking about who to go with and it was tough as there are a few really good, sustainable and eco friendly options. For us Berraco Del Madidi stood out for the following reasons: • They only... More

I would strongly recommend this company. I recently did the 5 day jungle trip and was very impressed with the whole trip. The company are more expensive than others in town, but going for 5 days rather than less really makes a difference and the camp is deep in the jungle giving you more chance of seeing the animals. The... More

We stayed at the ecolodge for six days and think it was perhaps too long. We were happy with how many animals and different kinds of vegetation we saw. The ecolodge, including the washrooms, is clean and well-maintained, and is located in an isolated but beautiful setting. We both enjoyed the community visit, which was very interesting. However, we were... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Berraco del Madidi eco camp for 4 days 3 nights, allowing 2 full days in the jungle and plus half days getting there and getting back. This eco camp was recommended to us by friends who had recently visited and we were not disappointed! The camp is 6hrs up river (only 3.5hrs returning back... More

The service is to regulate, it is not good, the place is very beautiful but not so special. The guides don't fulfill their itineraries, and I didn't see many animals. My girlfriend and I originally started on a 4 day 3 night trip to Barraco, but quickly extended it to 7 days. We had the most amazing time and I can't reccomend this experience highly enough, we have been telling fellow travellers about it ever since. The accomadation is excellent, perfectly clean and comfortable and separated from everyone else so... More
