We made a 4d,3n tour with berraco del madidi into the heart of the jungle. after the days it was hard to leave because we had so much fun. because it is so small (only 8 people with 2 guides) it was really familar and harmonic. The guides were just amazing and told us so many interessting things about everything... More

Travel deep into the jungle, well away from civilization, open your mind and enjoy a genuine experience, only slightly polished to suit the western idea of comfort. Pedro is passionate about his jungle but can tend to be a bit blasé about its wonders. He seems to think visitors are only interested in big animals. They definitely were amazing but... More

A life changing experience. We loved Madidi National Park, Berraco Del Madidi, Pedro and all the wonderful staff. It was truly an interesting, inspiring and humbling experience and I have left a piece of my heart there to come back for. If you have the opportunity to go to Madidi National Park – do it, you’ll come back seeing through... More

First off, I would recommend this jungle lodge for the following reasons: 1. Location: it is deep (6 hours by boat) in the jungle and has a good chance of seeing plenty of different animals dependent on the time of year. 2. Accommodation: the tents you sleep in (only three at the moment so maximum of 9 people in the... More

I highly recommend choosing Berraco for your jungle experience. From my first email to arriving back to rurrenabaque after 4 days in the jungle I felt so privileged. I was very lucky to see a Jaguar on my way to the lodge. The staff are very knowledgable and go out of their way to make sure you are having a... More

Let's just call it Ripoff Tours. No security (in case of accident there was no boat to return to Rurre and no telephone link), no sustainability (nescafe, coca cola, chemical soaps, diesel generator), poor food and extremely expensive

Because there are so unscrupulous people who dare to do harmful feedback about business ventures made by small indigenous entrepreneurs as our company is, with the sole objective is to damage our image being the real reason the fact that this person had no idea of what she wanted and where she was standing, demanding communications such as telephone, much... Me and my boyfriend have just finished our Jungle stay with Berraco del Madidi and had an amazing time. Our guide and founder of the tour Pedro was brilliant and always laughing. He spoke great English and was very knowledgable. The campsite is spectacular. It is a lot deeper in to the jungle than other sites, very well built, very... More

Excellent company, they responded to emails prior to the trip promptly and answered all my questions (I asked a lot). They were very accommodating to our requests (I am vegetarian) and provided pickup from the airstrip in Rur. They even booked my hotel for me in Rur! The actual tour is out of this world, the site is very clean,... More

Our 4 days trip to Berraco Del Madidi camp was absolutely awesome. The camp is located really deep in the Selva and you'll feel yourself completely overwhelmed. The campsite is very clean, nights under tents are very stunning and Berraco's staff are very kind. William was our guide, very nice person, always trying to explain sounds, smells, plants, culture etc...We... More

Me and my flatmate stayed at the ecolodge for three days and we had a wonderful time. The place is so far off the beaten track that you think all that jungle is just there for you. The facilities underline the idea of the proximity to nature, since there are no closed rooms. At first I was a little scared... More
