We spent 5 days at Berraco del Madidi with our 2 girls of 5 and 8 last year. We had wanted something immersive and to feel we were really away from it all. We had a family platform with two tents on that could be well zipped up to keep the bugs out. There were comfortable mattresses, proper sheets and... More

I'm sad to say that this did not meet our expectations. They do a great job with what they do offer, but in my opinion it's simply not what is advertised on the website. I say I'm "sad" because I really want them to succeed given how the owner comes from a local village, but I need to be honest... More

It takes 6 hours up-river to reach the eco-camp and it is undeniably worth the journey! Along the way we saw Capybara and beautiful views of the rainforest. The camp is extremely remote which is ideal for seeing wildlife. Our tent was spotless and more comfortable than most of the hostels we had stayed in! We had complete privacy and... More

I love how small this eco-camp is (maximum capacity:8 ppl). I travelled alone here and I got my personal guide Leo who has spent his whole life in the jungle and knows all animals by just a glimpse, their sound and smell. As a city girl, I was amazed by everything this camp can offer: healthy food, exciting jungle adventures,... More

We had a fantastic seven days in the jungle. Full credit to our guide William who despite the language barrier more than made up for it by his lively freindly nature and expertise in the jungle. William grew up in this area and learnt everything about the jungle from his Dad who is also a guide and his uncle who... More

My husband and I shopped around the agencies in Rurrenabaque and decided on Berraco Del Madidi and were very happy with our choice. The camp, facilities and meals were of very high standard, everything was immaculate and the meals were absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful guide (Orlando) who was very personable spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about... More

The 5 days in Berraco del Madidi were the highlight of the entire trip around Bolivia. After a nice flight from La Paz to Rurrenabaque we were fetched by Brigitte (tour operator) at the airport. The next day after a comfortable boattrip to the camp we arrived in a totally different world full of sounds, heat and smells. The sleeping... More

If you love the rainforest, wildlife, good food, good service and the sounds of the jungle; Berraco del Madidi is the place to be. The lodges/tents are basic, but beautiful and situated deep in the heart of the jungle. That's why I can truly say that they offer the best nature experience. The staff is very kind, very helpfull and... More

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights at the jungle lodge. We chose Berraco del Madidi based on previous reviews. Right from our first dealings with them through Bridgette in the office, we have been very happy with our choice. Bridgette was efficient in dealing with our enquiries and extremely helpful once we arrived in Rurre. The trip to the... More

We chose Berraco because it was deep into the rainforest with a small number of people. The atmosphere was lovely and we shared our mealtimes with 2 other lovely couples. Our activities were led by our own personal guides and we discussed which activities we wanted to take part in. The service was excellent and the teamwork between the staff... More
