Amazing resort. Eco resort run by Patti and Sami. I spent 8 days here freediving with ApneaAustralia and had an amazing time. Beautiful resort with fantastic local staff. Felt like I could stay forever. Highly recommended!

We have just spent a wonderfully relaxing four nights at Serenity - it was perfect. Semi's attention to detail was incredible - from setting the table for each meal to putting down the mosquito net and lighting the candles in our fale each evening. The food was beautifully prepared seafood, chicken & vegetables - served to the table. There is... More

This was the 2nd of 3 places in Ha'Apai we stayed at during our honeymoon this August. Let me start by writing down some punch lines: - Miles of beautiful white beaches and crystal clear water, all for yourself. - Super romantic bungalows, that can be opened up on 3 sides so you'll fall asleep with the sounds of nature... I spent two nights at Serenity Beaches Resort as the 'Ha'apai' part of my trip. What a find! Patti and Sami have created such a special space... a mix of luxury and rustic with beautiful Balinese fales and a few new concrete additions that will better withstand future cyclones. And they're both so friendly and welcoming! Nothing was ever too... More

We loved everything about Serenity and the island of Uoleva. We stayed at Serenity for five nights and found the whole resort peaceful and uplifting. Patti and Same are superb hosts and lots of fun, and can only be admired for their resilience in getting this resort back up and running after the big cyclone on Hapai earlier this year.... More

If you look for the Paradise on Earth, go to Serenity Beaches. We spent six nights and we wish we could have stayed much longer. Really nice rooms and beautiful restaurant. All running on solar panels and candles. Food is excellent. And Pati will take care of you. If you are lucky, you could even have a campfire on the... More

This is a secluded island that is certainly off the grid. The beach is gorgeous and the snorkeling fabulous as well. One of my very favorite things about it is that it’s an eco resort run primarily on sunlight and candlelight! You really start to live by the natural rhythms of day and night again. I had the best sleep!... More

We went for the whale swimming but that was frustrated thanks to Ha'apai Whale and Sail (rogue trader), however by pure serendipity we discovered Serenity- a brilliant consolation. We transferred from Lifuka with Selassie (he is the only native operator for whale watching in Ha’apai, whose boat has a wet boarding (and the boarding area has broken glass- caution), however... This resort is located on the island of Uoleva which is a sparsely populated island. Other accommodation located on the island includes Captain Cooks Hideaway and Taiana’s (Diana’s) Beach Resort. All accommodation is located on the water. Details can be found on http://www.haapai.to/accommodation.html. Apart from that the island appears largely unpopulated. It is a 45 min boat transfer from the... More

Serenity beaches resort has to be one of the most amazing places I have stayed. Patty and her crew look after you so well, the food is incredible, the beaches are picture postcards and the reefs just off shore are some of the healthiest I have ever seen! Be sure to take some cash as there are no ATM's anywhere... More
