A group of 12 girls stayed for 3 nights at Drybeck Farm. The setting is idyllic, so beautiful and peaceful. Steve was very helpful and was on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. The yurts are gorgeous as is the gypsy caravan which is really cute and has it's own well equipped kitchen. The large kitchen area was... More

I've just returned from an incredible 3 night stay at Drybeck for my 40th birthday . There were 27 of us (16 adults and 11 children) and 2 dogs. We managed to all sit around a table undercover for evening meals (although very cosy!), swam in the river, walked along the river, made camp fires, cooked marshmallows, ate fantastic pork... More

We had a lovely holiday with my two grandkids. The yurt was warm and cozy, the farm was lovely and the kids ran free. We were shown around the farm by Stephen (lovely man) who runs it and saw the piglets and Jack the dog. The kids just loved the whole experience. It's also close by Penrith and Keswick so... More

Drybeck Farm is a wonderful, relaxing glamping holiday site ideally situated close to Windermere, Ullswater, Ambleside and the lake District. Also take a trip to Coniston and travel on the steam ship Gondola where Bluebird set the water speed records. Shopping also in nearby Carlisle. The family will love it. Paul Davies

I had a great stay at Drybeck farm and I will be back again. The yurts are fantastic the staff were polite and courteous I would highly recommend, close to Ullswater, Derwent Water, Bassenthwaite Lake and other fantastic sights in the stunning scenery of the lake district.

If "getting away from it all" is on your mind this summer then look no further!! Dry beck Farm has it all!! glamping, bird watching, walking, visiting the Gloucester black spots and Saddleback pigs and piglets, horses and the very naughty goat down on the farm! Not to mention quite a few beers and BBQ food! Steve and his wife... More

Just back from weekend on Drybeck farm for my girlfriends birthday and was worried that the farm would live up to the fantastic reviews on here but have to say it surpassed them. From the moment we arrived everything was ready and Steve the owner put us at ease, explained how everything ran and where he was if we needed... More

I visited with my husband & 18 month old son for a 2 night stay in the vintage caravan. Steve kindly picked us up from armathwaite station. Armathwaite itself is a beautiful village with just 1 shop, and 2 pubs! We visited both pubs for meals. The Dukes Head was the friendlier of the 2, Fox & Pheasant was where... More

Just back from Drybeck farm had an excellent time in an old Gypsy caravan fully kitted out if slightly small but the upcoming gazebo will sort out some of that issue given a gorgeous welcome breakfast pack of sausage bacon eggs & homemade bread very peaceful indeed just what the doctor ordered the owners are absolutely spot on very helpful... My partner and I visited Drybeck Farm a week ago with our 6 month old little boy and had a great time. We stayed in the vintage caravan which was amazing, comfy bed, log burner and all the facilities you need but at the same time traditional and rustic which is right up our street. Steve the owner of the... More
