I had not realized how out of the way La Closeraie for our purposes. Not only could we find no stores or bakeries in the neighborhood, out time to destination and back was 30 minutes or more every day. The house is rustic and rural. My partner and I had stayed in quite a few bed and breakfast place during our stay in France and had good experiences but staying at Michele and John-Michele's B&B was exceptional and we got to know them well after just one night staying at their place having a lovely home cooked meal which consisted of Michele's famous need burgundy....
