just got back from Cosgrove after a wonderful weekend just chilling and relaxing. The lakeside café supplied us with a wonderful cooked breakfast both mornings. The service was outstanding and the food as good. We had a take away from the chip shop one evening and this was great. The toilet and shower block was clean and tidy and the... More

My parents have a tourer caravan on a pitch by the ski lake & being a family member I get a pass to use the park & facilities , my parents stay there every weekend during the summer months & when I call in on them it's like being down Devon/Cornwall. Especially when the sun is shining, I have stayed... More

First year on a seasonal pitch. Beautiful location with canals nearby which are great for bike rides. Lovely place for families with great places to visit. BUT at night the place changes....loud music, loud parties which you have to put up with. The usual minority spoiling for the majority. Rules of no music after 11 pm is not reinforced. Looking... Positives: Nice location Clean and tidy Well landscaped Lots of facilities Negatives: Restaurant isn't a restaurant, barely a cafe. Poor choice and home made cakes a joke Takeaway rarely open and slooooow service Shop was expensive, bought 6 items and back at the caravan found 2 were out of date Worst of all the gangs of teens mainly on evening... A very large noisy and busy site. Probably ok if you have children (and good weather). Many pitches are a long way from the shop and Reception area. So many old caravans on seasonal pitches make the site look very untidy.

Lovely setting in a nice part of the world but this site is dominated by seasonal pitched tourers and static caravans which is a shame . We were told on booking that short stay overnight tourers cannot have a pitch riverside/lakeside as these are kept for long term seasonal tourers which again is a shame as we saw a few... More

My brother and sister in law have a lovely touring caravan that was pitched at Cosgrove during the 2012 season and will be again be during 2013. We (my husband, myself and our now 7 year old daughter) visited several times during 2012 for day trips and short breaks. The site can be busy especially during peak season. However it... More

Stayed over the August bank holiday with our two teenage children , we were aware of the amount of seasonal pitches on site when we booked and wondered if it would be an issue, total opposite, great site , some seasonal pitches looked abit shabby but everyone seemed to be having fun! More hectic than what we are used to... More

I stayed here on the Queens Jubilee weekend in my touring caravan on the Hernons touring field. The campsite is very commercial so if you want peace and quiet then this is not the place for you. Was it for me? YES I don’t like to go away in a field bird watching all day and really like good reasonable... More

We went to cosgrove park 5-6 June. Very big site, Children everywhere, not at all peaceful, lots of noise if it's not children it's dogs barking. Toilets basic. Shop well stocked. The lodge next door was grim although about a 10 min walk the village pub looked quite nice. Looks lovely on website and you would possibly enjoy it if... More
