Warm welcome to a village pub. Drinks were inexpensive and the carvery was absolutely fabulous the meat was tender and the veg was all fresh not frozen. The deserts were also exceptional however the lemon and coconut tart sampled by some of the party was a flop. The waitress service was friendly and professional.

This is a small local pub in Porthyrhyd Nr. Llanelli S. Wales on the old road into Carmarthen. Nearby is the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. Worth a visit. Has a free train to get about as the grounds are extensive. I think the largest single span greenhouse in Europe! If disabled and want to hire a scooter please book... More

Stayed on a Saturday evening, and the music from the bar was reverberating through our bed until 1.30am. When we complained in the morning, the barman was dismissal- accepting that there was music until late, but maintaining we should understand that the establishment was also a pub, so some noise was inevitable !!! This warning should be on all web-sites... More

Had the unfortunate experience of a 5 day trip into Wales and this was booked throught laterooms.com so paid in advance! Twin room was tiny, two people could not stand up at the same time. The bathroom door could only just open before hitting the bed. The bathroom was so small that with the door closed you could not bend... More

I think I must have had an off day the night I stayed here as I cannot agree fully with the 'raving' reviews from previous stayers. Firstly I had no wifi at all and it was advertised as wifi throughout the pub........I needed to do some work which I could not do because there was no wifi AT ALL.......please do... More

We have travelled far and wide in UK and feel that the Abadam Arms offers the best English breakfast that we have ever had. Considering that we were hospitality providers ourselves for 15 years this is praise indeed for this village inn which offers a warm welcome, generous hospitality and deserves to succeed, Well done Kallum. Our evening meal was... More

We came here for a chance to just chill out. Phoned on the off chance to see about booking two nights. This has to be one of the best decisions we have ever made for a trip away. Friendly clean warm fantastic breakfast and the staff cannot do enough for you. This is the place we will be staying anytime... More

I booked this based on the reviews and we were delighted with our choice. Jo, Katie & Kallum have refurbished the place with a great deal of care and have a real flair for interior design, everything well thought through and beautifully co-ordinated. We were shown to our room by Katie who was very welcoming and asked what time we... More
