The decor is a bit tired. There was damp patches and paint peeling in the bathroom.Staff were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was nice. The views were also good. It's well situated for Sugar Loaf walking. Just needs a makeover.

House beautifully furnished. Would definitely stay there again. The honesty bar was a bonus, as was the beautiful sitting room on the ground floor for use by visitors. Our stay was very good value for money as we stayed in October and we paid for two nights and were given a third night's stay free of charge. The only downside... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in September, not a cheap place to stay but well worth the money, a house filled with lovely antiques and soft furnishings. So much character. Our room was the jacuzzi room, the only room in the building with no En suite however as we had our own bathroom just across the landing this was really... More

We could not disagree more with the previous review! We got married this Saturday and not only was the venue perfect but the staff (including security) were helpful, friendly and welcoming to us as all our guests. Everyone who stayed loved their rooms and cottages and breakfast was fab in the morning! If you are thinking of using this place... More

I stay here at least one night every week for work and there is always a warm welcome. Large rooms are available, always comfortable, excellent food nearby in the evening and excellent breakfast here in the morning. Christine and Warwick are great hosts in what is a lovely home. I could stay elsewhere for a change but I wouldn't want... More

We loved this old country house at the edge of the Brecon Beacons. It is very peaceful, set in parkland with a herd of cattle browsing the long grass in front of the lawn. The gardens are beautiful, created over many years and with a lot of expertise, so I can see why people choose to hold wedding receptions here.... More

Situated just off the main road, which made it easy to find, Glangrwyney Court is approached via quite a picturesque drive. Cows and calves on the right as you drive up all adds to the gentle relaxing feel of this place. A large welcoming reception with lots of local information available. We were shown our rooms, myself and my husband... More

Glangrwyney Court is set in a beautiful location, the surrounding gardens being utterly stunning, and with the Black Mountains providing a suitable backdrop, for scenery you really couldn't wish for anything more. With the neatly laid out lawns, borders and trees, no wonder it's a hit for wedding receptions! We didn't stay for bed and breakfast in the main house,... More

I can't rate this place highly enough. We had a fabulous time in the most beautiful little cottage which had everything you could possibly need. The owners will go out of their way for you and nothing was too much trouble. We were able to eat in the dining room in the main house despite being self catering and it... More
