We stayed for one night on the way from Scotland to England. What a pleasant change from the soulless budget hotels near the big motorways! Staying at Mount Farm B&B was much more like a night at a friend's house, or with family. Judith greeted us with a lovely smile, there was cake ready for us, we could use the... More

Great B&B - everything just right and our host was very helpful and generous. Cakes, fruit, crisps supplied as well as bottled water! Lots of choice of toiletries too! Lola our dog was made very welcome. Thank you Judith!

Stayed for one night on our way back home. Everything about this B&B was first class. Great welcome, even left out a piece of cake for our afternoon coffee. We stayed in room 3..... big bedroom and large wet room. Even had a nice outside sitting area. Judith was the perfect host... We will return !

Judith (J.M. Wilson on Google maps) is a farm girl gem, possibly the most accommodating of all the hosts on our trip through the UK. She is the owner and manager of Mount Farm B&B, located in Blackford a half mile off the main road. We met some members of her loyal clientele from Scotland and she rents to a... More

We spent two nights recently at Mount Farm. We enjoyed our stay enormously. Judith's friendly disposition was immediately obvious. Her tray treats on arrival were delicious. Judith's guided touch tour of our barn apartment left Geraldine who is visually impaired at ease and secure in her unfamiliar surroundings. Comfort, space, food, quietness, farm situation, excellent WiFi and disabled facilities made... More

2 wonderful rooms in the converted outbuildings which share a kitchen area so you have access to a fridge, sink, and washing machine should you need it - without any hassle. The room is very spacious with the bathroom bigger than some B&B rooms i've been in before! Completely dog friendly, and the owners dog is very obedient and friendly... More

We stayed at the farm again on the way to the Island of Raasay. It is a great stop over place. We were made to feel very welcome with home made cake on arrival. Fantastic after a long drive. The beds were comfortable and the dog was made welcome too! Good advice on a local pub for an evening meal.... More
