Just a lovely clean and welcoming place to stay on our trip to Scotland, great breaky too :) safe parking and friendly dogs. Very chilled out atmosphere and good info on local places to eat. Next trip up to Scotty and I will be staying here again.

We stayed at the farm again on the way to the Island of Raasay. It is a great stop over place. We were made to feel very welcome with home made cake on arrival. Fantastic after a long drive. The beds were comfortable and the dog was made welcome too! Good advice on a local pub for an evening meal.... More

We made Mount Farm our half way stop over from Hertfordshire to the Isle of Skye and also on the return journey. The place is lovely and we were treated as friends and made very comfortable. The children enjoyed the animals and the playful dog and we enjoyed being able to relax after a long journey. Homemade cake and the full... More

We used this B&B to access both the Lake District and Hadrians Wall. Very conveniently located just off the M6 but vey quiet as well. We found a very modern and high class barn conversion that is VERY spacious. Access is also provided to a separate lounge and dining room. Obviously pet friendly. Suitable for wheel chair access. Meticulously cleaned.... More

Close to the M6, but far enough away to be peaceful. Very welcoming with home made cake and tea on arrival. A bike shed and safe parking. A very good nights sleep and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended if you are biking up to Scotland as a half way stop, or just a nice place to stay.

When we arrived at Mount Farm, Judith brought us homemade cake and made us feel at home. We loved being out in the country with the sheep, cows, and chickens. We were able to do laundry and the room was spacious. It was very peaceful and we would love to stay here again. Thanks, Judith, for all you did to... More

Thanks judith for the marvellous stay and your patience with the children. Everything is perfect: the breakfast, the place, the dogs, the farm animals. We'll be back again. The rooms are big and confortable, the place is very paceful, and the localitation is perfect to visit the lakes district and the south of Scotland. Andres y Belen from Spain

We had a wonderful stay again with Judith as a half-way house en route to and from a holiday in Scotland. Since staying with Judtih previously 3 years ago, she has now converted the stables which could more adequately be described as a 5-star hotel rather than a barn conversion... The bedrooms and bathroom or wetroom are huge with extra... More

I had a wonderful 1 night stay with my dog Riley in late June. I found Judith to be a lovely hostess, providing plenty of information when checking us in, as well as providing a terrific breakfast the next morning. We stayed in the converted stable block where there are 2 rooms. She generally puts the guests with pets there,... More
