One night stopover. Had room on top floor but still noisy throughout night. On main road and Longtown is home to the biggest sheep market in England and a large haulage business. Trucks rumble past all night. Staff friendly enough and room clean, spacious and bright. Good breakfast. OK if you are a deep sleeper.

We booked a night for a group of motorcyclists on the way to Scotland. Upon entering we were immediately made to feel welcome with secure parking for the bikes. The rooms while a little dated are clean with everything you would need. Beds comfy and warm. The evening meal while a little basic was good value for the money and... More

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfortable but the furnishings were cheap and the room slightly tacky. For the cost I would have expected a little better in that respect, however the evening meal in the bar and the breakfast were both very good. Wifi not working at the time of stay.

From the moment I booked,I felt welcome. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Alistair (or 'yeti' to his friends..and after my stay here,I'm proud to consider myself one!) After firing several questions his way, which he answered with confidence, he helped me to settle in. The room was perfect for the money and I have no complaints at all. I made... More

We were struggling to find anywhere to stay on Easter Saturday night that would accept dogs, so in honestly our choices were limited. However Stuart, who I would guess is the proprietor, was very very friendly, helpful and pleasant when I checked in. The room was clean, a little basic, but did have a sofa in it. The en-suite was... It was a last minute decision to have a couple of nights in the Borders/Cumbria with two small dogs. We wanted something personal not a faceless motel or lodge. I telephoned a couple of days before, having read reviews on trip advisor to check details and availability, Stuart was so helpful, honest and informative that after doing a bit more... More

I walked through the door and within minutes of talking to the guy who was checking me in (possibly the owner/land lord but not sure) felt like I was round a friend’s house. My bike was locked up in a back outhouse which was ideal. My particular room was small and old fashioned but very clean and comfortable and had... More

We stayed here overnight en route to the Highlands - we'd chosen the Graham Arms as we had our small terrier with us and the hotel was advertised as pet friendly. We're so glad we found this - without exception the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, probably the best we've ever met. Our room (no 16, at the front... More

After awful service, and quality at a nearby Travelodge (see previous review!) we found the Graham Arms on Booking.com and immediately booked, and set off. On route, we called ahead to ensure that our dog, Pickles, would be welcome. I spoke to Kirsty on the phone, who immediately managed to make us feel like we would be welcome at the... More
