We were here for 4 weeks, refugees of the Carlisle floods, apparently the only place within 15 miles that would take in our little dog according to our insurance agent. The welcome was very warm and friendly and the staff could not do enough for us. We had a lovely large room with everything we could ever need. The Wi-Fi... More

After a long journey, our minibus of ten people arrived in Longtown and at The Graham Arms Hotel for a group meal. The welcome we received was warm and friendly and the staff and locals immediately made us feel comfortable. We all ordered lunches and the food was exceptional, very fresh produce and very reasonably priced. I would completely recommend this... More

Firstly this is solely my experience and 100% genuine. Have been here for a few days ..... Its just a pub really with rooms above .....sort of place that contractors stay. Decent enough but a budget stay. Good reviews on meals but I didnt eat there.

I booked this hotel for a one night stopover on our journey from the Highlands back to London. As this was a dog friendly place it suited our needs. The booking was made through late rooms however it seemed there was an issue as when I went to check in there was no room reserved for me and my family!... More

Stopped at the Graham Arms Hotel on the last leg of my solo motorbike return journey home Saturday 29th August and was made very welcome. The blonde girl in reception was very friendly and, as I saw her work in the bar later, is obviously a multi-tasker. Dinner was lovely and well priced and the service was great. As a... More

The rooms are a tad tired, but with the facilities you'd expect - tea, coffee, satellite tv etc. Single rooms at the back are interrupted in the night by a loud pump noise which can disturb sleep. However any problems with the building are more than made up for by the extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble... More

I booked this from reviews on tripadviosr and was not disappointed. We used this as a stop over on our way back form Scotland. Yes it is on a busy main road. There's nothing you can do about that. Car park not great but lots of parking around area. When we got there the guy we spoke to was extremely... More

Very friendly staff. Unfortunatly our room was at roadside and very noisy but good comfy bed. Food could be better but was ok . Staff young in dining room and when i asked what the cheesecake was he dashed off to come back and say plain - it was fruit but its gone mouldy! Not what u want to hear.

We stayed for the weekend as we were getting married at Gretna Green! Stuart and his excellent team made our stay just perfect - a lovely friendly welcome, comfortable and well-appointed room, fabulous full english breakfast and a choice of delicious evening meals. If you're a dog owner, your pooch will be made welcome too with access to all areas... More

We did book ahead for this pub as we were finding accommodation hard to find at the end of midterm break. While it does not profess to be any five star pub it is clean and tidy with good staff and reasonable meals both at dinner and breakfast.
