Nice simple rooms with air condition. Small shower bathroom. Clean and very simple and cheap furniture. Bed very hard and shoooort. Breakfast well organised. Though right by the road very quiet thanks to double windows. Check-in late by 17h earliest and check out by 10h latest. From 15h until 12h next day would be better. Breakfast tastes good and you're... More

We were a group of 10. The restaurant was empty. We were turned away because they did not have enough for 10 without a booking 1 day in advance! Lacking any customer service. We struggle to understand how a restaurant in the middle of a tourist area in the middle of July, peak tourist season, would turn customers away .

The beef special was practically inedible--tough and full of gristle. The salmon was baked to the point where it was completely dried out. When we asked that the salmon be baked a little on the rare side, the proprietor/waitress told us that the salmon is baked the way it is baked. This restaurant should be avoided at all costs. We... We walked up from the canal and were warmly greeted. The three-course menu was excellent and not expensive. My wife still talks about the three large lamb chops that came with her main course. The local wine is fruity and cheap. We enjoyed the walk up by the windmill and other yard accouterments.

We arrived soaking wet after walking the Canal du Midi just under an hour before the stated time for checking in to find that you cannot even drop your bags off a little early as no-one will answer if you ring the bell, so we walked into the village and sat at the only other bar/café option and waited for... We stayed here as part of walking the canal du midi. Room is ok (but compared to other places we have stayed so far it isnt great value for money). Ate at the restaurant as there didn't seem to be much else in town, my chicken was delicious however my husbands lamb shank was so dry he sent it back.... More

We were looking for an overnight stay after visiting Carcasonne en route for the South of France. We saw this unassuming hotel and restaurant and checked in wondering how we might spend the rest of the evening in this small village. After settling into our adequate room we wandered in the garden and found we were on the banks of... More
