We stayed here for 5 nights in the wet season. if you want peace, relaxation, a stunning view, spacious comfort, lovely attentive staff and a very pleasant pool then this is the place for you. The only draw back is that the food (except breakfast which is great) does not live up to the quality of the rest of the... More

We’ve stayed there in May, and fell in love with this place!! The resort located in between Chiangrai and Maesai, took me 30 minutes to drive from the town which was not at all bother me. I was enjoy watching and taking photos of the nature along the way. Hotel located on top of the hill, you will not believe... More

Stayed here 3 nights in the off-season. Booked through the hotels website and got a good deal. Beautiful layout ( terraced, private design of rooms, many of which were under renovation. Our mountain- view room was in excellent condition, spacious and comfortable, great canopied bed, great view of the local landscape ( albeit obscured by the Burning Season haze!) .... More

We where told that this place is just outside Chiang Rai.... it turned out to be 1 hour drive from town and in the middle of nowhere! Besides that the rooms are very basic, no glas window in the bathroom, just lukewarm water, no safe etc. The covered terrace where diner is served was quite dirty, as it seems that... More

This review is long over due. My boyfriend and I attempted to stay at Phu Chasai this past May and had an AWFUL experience. So bad that we didn't even spend the night and ended up losing $140 for our two night stay. I had booked one of their Pool Villas as a special treat during our 2 week trip... More

Phu Chaisai is located high in the mountain with room laid out like a rice-terrace, which gives everyone a lot of privacy yet it is quite convenient to access the service centers. The rooms are made out of bamboo which keeps them quite cool under the summer sun, and there are surprisingly few mosquitoes and bugs despite all the trees... More

The sunsets are magnificent, the rooms are like living in mythical country called Tiki land, and the open air hilltop restaurant and bar look like a movie set. This should be paradise but it is not. Let's start with the bamboo paneled rooms, each with its own balcony looking over the mountains. I would like it better if it looked... More

This is my favourite hotel in the Chiang Rai area. Although it's located a bit outside the city, every time I visit there I do so on a motorcycle. The surrounding mountains make for great day trips. The staff at this hotel do everything they can to make you feel that you are a VIP guest.

I stayed here for 2 nights (which was long enough) with my family just before Christmas. Although the views and surroundings are absolutely stunning the "rustic" rooms, especially the bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. Also, although I'm sure it's lovely in the hot weather, the resort is up a mountain and at night and in the mornings, it was... More

This was our 2nd stay at this amazing resort and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The staff as ever were friendly and helpful organising some great excursions such as rafting and horse riding which we very much recommend.
