Booked two rooms here in April 2012. Hotel and grounds are beautiful and rooms as well. Rooms very large and spacious with great little surprises like the closets opening from both sides from both the bedroom and bathroom, and a spa tub, separate shower, and another shower with a rain showerhead. The hotel is made up of three story bungalows... More

The resort is a 40min drive from Chiang Rai Airport. Would recommend you book a rental in advance... Continental have a good selection of sedans you could choose from..... The drive up was smooth and the scenery was breathtaking... Good time to visit is Nov - Feb.... The resort is situated on a hill top and chalets are sprawled around... More

I went there 4 days during the New Year's holiday. The place is amazing, secluded in the beautiful mountains near Chang Rai, Mae Sai, Golden Triangle. The resort is beautiful, with a great fireplace in the lobby. The view is wonderful. The rooms are so huge, well equipped and the bathrooms are ...GREAT! WE had 2 kind of rooms: The... More

Wonderful hotel. Views are breath taking. Rooms are large and well equipped. We only stayed for a day but wish we would have been able to stay longer. Staff is very helpful and we enjoyed breakfast Buffett. More

This resort seems like it could have been plucked right out of Hawaii and dropped in the jungles of northern Thailand. The rooms are enormous and well furnished. You can almost get lost in the the green-tiled bathroom. The huge deck looks out over the sensational landscape. The reception area, dominated by a magnificent fireplace (yes, in Thailand) also is... We stayed in Katiliya suite that looks like a studio with balcony overlooking a valley of rice field and pineapple plantation. Unfortunately, the suite doesn't have a jacuzzi, however, it has a big bathtub. Staff and foods are really great. However, there are limited varieties of foods at breakfast (no yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, wheat breads). More

We stayed at this resort last November, and it is AMAZING. Views are incredible, the rooms immaculate, beautiful pool and attentive service in the restaurant. Also have free movie "rental" and DVD players in the rooms. A great get-away for us after 12 days in Bangkok and in the hospital. The suites are fantastic, the bathrooms incredible with jacuzzi tubs,... More

We stayed for four nights as we visited Chaing Rai and the surrounding area for Songkran. What a great change after spending the night on the Bangkok – Chiang Mai sleeper train! We had a driver and a van for our group of four adults and six children, so the remote location was not a problem. The property was, as... More

I recently returned from a multiple-nights stay at this resort, and concluded that some valuable info for prospective guests is missing. Following is an effort to reasonably objectively offer insightful review: For the discerning traveler, you will find that either inconsistent attempts or a complete failure to complete construction interferes with your impression that the resort commands 5 stars. From... More

We stayed at Katilya for 3 nights and found it to be a truly beautiful peaceful place to stay. The rooms are amazing with fantastic views, modern comforts but a real Thai feel too. Honestly could not fault anything. It was very quiet when we stayed but that was why we travelled in off season, and very reasonably priced because... More
