We were driving through France on our way to Tuscany and planned a 2 day rest I picked this so as my wife could look out over Lake Como to Villa D'Este On arrival we were offered parking in her garage. The bed was very comfortable The breakfasts had plenty of choice. Although it is on the roadside its position... More

I stayed one day at this hotel on my way from Munich to Florence. It was an exploratory visit to see if it would be a good hotel in the future for a longer stay. While the hotel was quite clean and the people relatively nice, I tend to want a bit more in my hotels. The rooms were clean,... More

Recently spent 2 nights here, lady who ran the place was lovely and very helpful. About 5/10 mins from Como by bus which you can catch almost right outside. Lovely view of the lake, also has a nice terrace to sit out on. Village also has a cute lakeside restaurant although it's the only one there so does get busy!

The hotel is easy to find. The view outside from the window is quite nice. This hotel is not big but comfortable. The hostess is really nice, providing every detail with us, telling us the exact time of the coming bus. We did have a nice time in Como Lake.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on our way to Tuscany for two nights. I can highly recommend this hotel for a romantic stay, on yr way to wherever in Italy or Swiss or any reason to pass by, this with friends or just on yr own. From the first moment you feel home and y are pampered... More

This is a very interesting hotel, different from the usual, touristic hotel. It's a true gem. Not completely comfortable because it's right on the street and kind of noisy at night, there is no elevator and the rooms are on the second and third floor, there is no AC and it could get hot during summer. But the staff it's... More

The front door is right on the main road, literally. You stand on the road and knock on the front door. The room was large and had a small balcony from which we did have a lovely view of Lake Como. The furniture was of the heavy, wooden, antique variety. The bathroom was very poky. I didn't mind having the... More

We stayed there for 1 night during our trip to Italy, and this was a bit dissappointment after our 5-night stay in a sunny&quiet B&B in Lovere, since the hotel was just at the street that's going through the village, the hotel itself was bit darkish (but arrived in the evening, maybe that's why such impressions). No parking, but we... More

This traditional family run hotel has great views of Lake Como from both the bedrooms and the the communal terrace area. It is owned and operated by the grandaughters of the original builder of the hotel and they were both curteous and helpful during our stay. There is some traffic noise from the adjacent road but we would not let... More

We stayed at this small lake-side hotel enroute from the U.K. to Siena. We had two rooms both with lovely views across Lake Como. The ensuite facilities were good and everything was clean and comfortable. There is a roof-top terrace where you can drink a beer and admire the view. Breakfast was excellent and there was more than enough to... More
