Spent a night at this chateau with my boyfriend and another couple and couldn't recommend it enough. The rooms were both beautiful and we spent several hours relaxing in the beautiful library/living room with wine and good books. We also had dinner there, which was very enjoyable. Our only regret is that we didn't we didn't have more time here!

My wife and I booked in for a 4 night stay as a base to do a bit of food and other exploring... The Chateau is small so what we found was effectively a delightful home away from home. The experience was very calm and tranquil- and although physically it was like a stay in someone else's home- you never... More

I can't say enough about our stay. Eduard and Jordi were very communicative prior to our trip. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and ended up staying 6 and we were SO happy to :)) We were greeted on a cold and rainy day where Eduard started the fire for us while we snacked on local cheese and local... It is an old chateaux, but with very comfortable rooms, beds, towels, etc, and very beautiful decoration. The place is very calm, there are only 7 rooms for guests, and the proprietors are very nice and efficient. From there you can visit all the Perigord region, with castles, medieval cities and beautiful landscapes. It is really a charming place to... More

We chose to spend 4 nights at Chateau La Thuiliere as part of our honeymoon after reading the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. The XL room was spacious with beautiful views over the lawn/park and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner every night at the chateau and loved every meal: the quality of the ingredients and... Chateau La Thuiliere is wonderful. Edward and Jordi have managed to combine the history of the Chateau with the new to make cosy and comfortable surroundings. They surpassed themselves with the care and attention we received. My husband was taken ill while we were there and Edward drove us to an emergency doctor late on Christmas evening. We had the... There's not a huge amount to add to the variety of extremely positive reviews in here. We booked here for the first five nights of our stay and then extended our stay for another 5 nights which probably tells you enough in itself. We have never visited the Dordogne region before and didn't know where to stay to allow us... More

I can happily confirm and concur with many of the reviews on here. I think HB's review sums it up beautifully. So what can I add? This place is a cornucopia of tasteful design and very well thought through preservation. It has very good karma. You will be able to read about its history etc elsewhere but one feels immediately... The first of three nights at Château La Thuilière was just enough time for my partner and I to realise we hadn't booked a long enough stay. Proudly overlooking rolling grounds and an immaculate, not to mention stylish, swimming pool, the château provides everything one would expect from a luxury getaway without thrusting said pleasures upon its guests. Likewise, through... More

We were staying with friends near here, so we booked a table for dinner as non-residents. The decor, ambience and overall feel of the hotel is welcoming and relaxing. Very informally greeted as we walked across the lawn to the dining area beautifully lit and laid-up outside in the garden. A set menu with mouth-watering courses accompanied with delicious wines...
