We had been told McGanns Pub was the best in all Ireland. Whether the ambience, the food, the live music or all of the above, this truly is the best pub in all of Ireland! The best Irish coffee in all Ireland too!

This pub is very authentic with great atmosphere, food and service. The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable. We can recommend the lamb shanks and Bailies coffee. There is live Irish music and no down side to this pub. Overall worth the visit. We stayed at Doolin View BnB which was a 10 minute walk away.

This has to be the busiest pub I've ever been in for food & drink. Constantly full yet the service & quality of food is top class. Do not go to Doolin & not eat or visit McGanns. I love it. We spent 4 days in Doolin & went there every evening & SOOO family friendly.

McGann's is an institution in County Clare. It's a must for a visit. Doolin is beautiful and although it's become commercialized over the years it still retains an authentic air. The music is amazing, the food is good. Hope you get there, you'll be happy you did!

This was our first pub while on our trip to Ireland in October. An authentic and lively environment! Everyone seemed really at home. The wait staff was friendly and the food was fantastic! This place was recommended by our B & B owners. Thanks!

We stayed one night in mid October at McGanns Pub. Dermot and his staff were so friendly and welcoming. The place was quite busy! The Wild Atlantic Way is clearly helping. A warm busy pub wired for traditional music!. Despite the heavy tourism, this pub remains the real deal.We had excellent food, fresh fish, lamb shank and Irish stew. And... More

A night we will always remember!! Very friendly staff, great beer options. Delicious home made Irish Stew. Best part was the musicians. We have never had a better evening listening to music. The banjo, accordion, guitar, and vocalist better than the best live performances I've ever seen, and being a child of the 60's I used to think I had... More

We had a great dinner here after seeing the cliffs - my boyfriend had the lamb shank and said it was the best he's had ever and the price was amazing! I had the beef stew which was also very good, the mash potatoes were great as well! The staff were very friendly and kind. Great little spot in Doolin!
