We havd the pleasure of a one night visit to Doolin and the Churchfield B&B on our recent honeymoon trip to Ireland. Maeve Fitzgerald welcomed us into her lovely home with her Irish wit and recommendations on where in town to get a bite to eat. We had a very comfortable stay and a full Irish Breakfast the next day.... More

My mother and I recently visited Doolin and stayed at Churchfield B&B with Maeve. It was wonderful! We arrived to a warm smile and coffee after a very exhausting and weary day of travel. Maeve made us feel right at home and always went out of her way to make us comfortable. Plus she's an amazing cook!! I looked forward... More

I recently stayed here for 5 days with my daughter. The location is perfect for day trips, if you have a car, and even conveniently located with a bus stop right out front for travels to other cities like Galway. After coming in weary and a bit frazzled from an overnight trip from the States and first-time experiencing left-side of... More

A comforting welcome awaits anyone staying at Maeve's Churchfield B&B. The rooms are spacious and well appointed in a warm and traditional style. The breakfast was perfect. I look forward to returning there some day and it will feel like going home to a beloved relative.

Maeve was an accommodating hostess during our recent stay at her home. She prepared breakfast for us early on the morning of our departure, a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and pancakes, as well as specially for our daughter during another morning of our stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, especially the family room. The location near two Pubs... More

After a long drive around Dingle and getting the ferry at Shannon with one minute left before leaving cutting off about 185 km, Finally arrived in the rain and dark at Churchfield B&B Very nice place. Clean, and had face clothes, as well a great Breakfast. Maeve is a great host. There are about 4 pubs in a very little... More

We just returned from our stay in Doolin and had a wonderful time. Maeve is a fantastic host and went way above and beyond to make our stay a very pleasant one. The B & B is in a great location near both main pubs and our room was lovely and restful. Thank you!

We've traveled in and out of Doolin several times in the last month and made it our 'home base' for a number of trips - sometimes extravagant, sometimes thrifty- within The Republic (Connemara, interior and south) so we have some basis for comparison. Although the weather has been mostly cloudy, chilly and damp if not pouring the last three weeks...so... More

Maeve came to our rescue when a booking at a different B&B in town fell through. She made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Very close to two great pubs with good food and music. Doolin is a wonderful town with lots to do - day and night. Thanks, Maeve!

Our family stayed at Churchfield B&B on October 17th. Maeve was very welcoming right from the start. The place is beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, right down to the homemade scones. Maeve even gave us some to take with us when we left. She was very helpful in giving us information on places to... More
