Rooms, service and food were excellent throughout the weekend. Food was the best wedding catering ever. Good choice for breakfast except they didn't do baked beans which I would have liked. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely room, comfy bed. Free wifi. Picturesque spot when it wasn't raining. Lovely views. Quiet spot on the Atlantic coast. Went to Caves (world's largest... More

Even though this hotel opened in 1997 and has a focus on saving the environment ( which is good ) I cannot rate it a 5. While the room is spacious and beds comfortable there are a few things that could have been better. The low flow shower head is really low flow. Towels are the lowest quality so far... More

A modern hotel on the outskirts of the village. Rooms were comfortable and we're reasonably large. Breakfast was outstanding. Complementary dressing gowns were provided. Car parking beside the hotel. A great place to stay

We enjoyed this very modern property in the small town of Doolin, a perfect place to catch a boat to the Aran Islands or explore the Cliffs of Moher. The staff were very friendly, and our room was large and comfortable. At over a mile from the pier, a car would be recommended if you're planning on making one of... More

First time ever in Doolin and our expectations were lots of fun, entertainment and memories. Doolin and its four pubs did not disappoint but what made the whole experience gel was this modern hotel with good humored staff, clean well layed out rooms, great food, chat and not a crusty (local vernacular for tree huggers) in sight! It's a rare... More

After reading about Doolin, its music, and charming pubs, I somehow expected an old classic hotel in a darling little town. The hotel is very modern and seems to own the entire block of modern stores, on a main thoroughfare through the town, such as it is. Once I got over the shock of "mistaken identity" we found the hotel... More

We stayed one night at Doolin Hotel and found it to be tops in all aspects, starting from the front desk attendant personally taking us to the room to all the comforts of the hotel and it's surrounding properties. The hotel exceeds many of the standards of 5 star hotels at a fraction of the price.

We stayed here recently for two nights as a centre to explore the Aran Islands and cliffs of Moher. This is a great hotel with very high standard of rooms, excellent restauarant and very helpful staff. Extremely modern rooms very comfortable beds, spotless modern bathroom. They even offer seaweed bath at 10euros extra. The breakfast was outstanding - my son... More

We came to this hotel to experience the Doolin Music Festival, but only wanted a evening ticket, it was quite pricey and the hotel discount was limited considering the inconvenience of an absolute rammed bar everytime you want a night cap (they need a separate place for residents). The hotel is fantastically placed and is a nice balance between modern,... More
