The Trad music in the bar was the best we had heard. The Seafood platter, which is pricey and must be ordered for two--was excellent. Cold, hot, tons of crab claws, fried fish, fish cakes, smoked salmon, regular salmon. All this with fries. I packed up half and ate it for lunch the next day and it was still excellent.

My stay in the doolin hotel was fantastic! Greta greeted us at the counter, told us all about the restaurants and bars and walked us to our room, that's not something that usually happens in hotels here and I thought it was a nice touch. The next day they helped us to find a taxi to the cliffs of moher... More

Arrived at this hotel knowing nothing about it as a friend had organised an overnight stay in beautiful Doolin and was bowled over the moment I stepped in to the lobby. From the outside entrance this looks like its going to be a standard hotel, but the lobby says otherwise. It is a beautifully designed hotel, which has a welcoming... More

We stayed for a night and enjoyed it there. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was modern and seemed new. Fitzpatrick's next door had great food. It was a convenient location to go to the Doolin Caves and the Cliffs of Moher.

Staff are friendly, but in hindsight, we will give Doolin a miss in the future! Bus loads of tourists are ferried to this location and in our view don't see the 'real' Ireland. Hotel Doolin is custom built, lacks character and in fact resembles a good Hostel. Our advice....keep driving - you are sure to find somewhere with a little... More

Stayed here on a Monday night after a visit to the cliffs and the food and craic was might. Crab claws and mussels were to die for. The trad music on the monday was a great addition.. Check in was prompt and professional and we even got some beautiful brown bread checking out. It's a must stay in the area

We stayed for two nights and from the time we arrived the hotel felt very homely. Greta the receptionist was excellent and brought us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. We had the carvery lunch which was very good and were given vouchers for complimentary Doolin craft beer . The rooms are very well furnished... More

We are a bit spoiled, I suppose - we've got used to stay in really good hotels. Hotel Doolin is not bad. Maybe it is even the best in the locality, but still it is not great. The rooms are a little bit shabby already. The bad, again, is not bad, but it is not good either. But there is... More

My first impression when we walked in was shock, it was beautiful! The welcome was lovely, we were showed to our lovely room and given a bit of information about the town by the lovely receptionist and from there it was a lovely weekend! We ended up eating in the hotel bar, fitz, both nights, which was slightly expensive, but... More
