This hotel is situated in a small village with 3 pubs. No other shops open during winter. Comfortable hotel with restaurant and adjoining pub which provides bar food. Menu in bar does not change for evening meals but breakfast is very good in the hotel. Car is essential.

Our wedding in Hotel Doolin was more than we wanted. Donal, Gina, Peter the Chef, the girls at front desk Gretta, Sarah and Raquel and the bar staff Martin and Miley made the weekend very easy for ourselves and the guests. The highlights were how much fun it was organizing the event. Donals expertise and connections with great photographers and... More

This was my first time staying in this hotel and I will definitely be back! It is the perfect spot for every kind of getaway! After a long walk on the Cliffs of Moher I couldn't have imagined a better reception - a warm cosy hotel, with atmospheric low lighting and mulled cider in glass jars on arrival! It was... More

We were looking for some simple stopover hotel to break our drive up Ireland's west coast, found Hotel Doolin on the Internet and booked a room for one night. The hotel surpassed our expectations. A big genuine welcome when we arrived and were shown to our spacious, excellently-equipped room. Then a fun evening in their Fitzpatrick's bar with good food.... More

Just back from a short break at the Doolin Hotel and we are delighted we stayed there. Great location for discovering the area. Room was good but lacked one or two extras like shower cap and body cream which I would have expected in a 4 Star hotel. On the positive side the staff were wonderful from front desk to... More

As the hotel was full stayed in the house beside the gift shop which worked out so reasonable for 5 of us. The house was very clean and spacious with two double rooms and a single. Only minor downfall was the quality of the mattress in one of the rooms. Had complementary arrival juice, complementary drink in the bar and... More
