We visited the Hotel Doolin for one night in the off-season, meaning October. We had read that it was the largest live music per capita town in all of Ireland and it seemed like a nice stop for the evening. Hotel aside - be prepared - if you visit Doolin during the off-season, it's more or less a ghost town.... More

From start to finish this hotel is exceptional! Check in with Raquel was lovely - she is the nicest hotel staff you will ever meet The decor is just like a big hug! You want to come in and stay! Settle down by the fire and chill! The slate floors, fab art work, beautiful flowers (great work Bernadette) and gorgeous... More

Myself and my boyfriend decided to head to Clare for a break away. Booked the Hotel Doolin as they had a reasonable rate online. The room was a good size, food absolutely amazing and a roaring fire in the bar to warm up to after a day out in the cold. Special mention for Paul and Raquel who assisted with... More

What a find. A Great hotel, and perfect " Base" for someone wanting to explore the cliffs of Moher. Hotel Staff are so friendly, even speaking to Greta over the phone I knew the hotel would be a friendly spot. We arrived late on the Friday night in the cold and wind to be welcomed by a nice glass of... More

Stayed here on the way to the Cliffs and enjoyed it. The hotel looks newly renovated and is very clean with access to a restaurant and pub though we ended up going to another pub down the road. Overall impressions were good, I'd recommend this place.

Warm and welcoming hotel with clean modern rooms and comfortable beds. We had a great stay, and a fantastic wedding party. Jeni in the restaurant was incredibly friendly and helpful, and all of the receptionists were very nice and patient after we forgot a pair of shoes! So close to the Cliffs of Moher and many other scenic places makes... More

We chose the Hotel Doolin for its proximity to the Cliffs of Moher for a school mid-term break with our two young boys. The hotel is lovely..'quaint' enough for tourists to enjoy the typical Irish charm but modern enough for Irish visitors too. The breakfast was delicious and the bar food was excellent too. All the hotel staff were very... More

This hotel is situated in a small village with 3 pubs. No other shops open during winter. Comfortable hotel with restaurant and adjoining pub which provides bar food. Menu in bar does not change for evening meals but breakfast is very good in the hotel. Car is essential.

Our wedding in Hotel Doolin was more than we wanted. Donal, Gina, Peter the Chef, the girls at front desk Gretta, Sarah and Raquel and the bar staff Martin and Miley made the weekend very easy for ourselves and the guests. The highlights were how much fun it was organizing the event. Donals expertise and connections with great photographers and... More

This was my first time staying in this hotel and I will definitely be back! It is the perfect spot for every kind of getaway! After a long walk on the Cliffs of Moher I couldn't have imagined a better reception - a warm cosy hotel, with atmospheric low lighting and mulled cider in glass jars on arrival! It was... More
