Mrs. Burke Crecora, Co. Limerick. We stayed in Hotel Doolin on May Bank Holiday Weekend. The rate was similar to most four star hotels but this was a real treat and great value for money as far as we were concerned. I went with my husband and was warmly welcomed at reception. The girl behind the desk was so professional... more

The Hotel interior design is quite nice but we stayed there for four nights and had some things to complain about: 1) no warm welcome but a receptionist with mechanical phrases, speaking in stereotypes. Since the arrival is a very crucial and sensitive moment, this was no good intro to our stay 2) the music in the restaurant where breakfast... more

I stayed in Hotel Doolin for one night in December 07. While the hotel is nice and new we had big problems trying to get the hotel staff to keep the heating on in the room. We requested this 3 times directly at reception and each time they were turning it off. Last time it was requested at 4am after... more

Very pretty hotel in beautiful surroundings, but not worthy of 4 stars. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Was surprised at the lack of amenities one might expect from a 4 star hotel - no satellite/cable TV, no internet connection, no laundry services, no leisure center. Breakfast in the restaurant was average - nothing stood out as being special - no... more

We were in Ireland for 16 days in September 2007 and stayed in the Hotel Doolin Sept. 13 and 14th. What a wonderful experience we had. Deirdre at the front desk helped us to get settled in our room early even though our flight into Shannon arrived early in the a.m. She did all she could to get a room... more

Six of us, 3 couples (mid 40’s) stayed at the Doolin hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of what would become an amazing 7 day trip through Ireland. We did a lot of research on the area and definitely knew we wanted to relax in Doolin for a couple of days while also checking out the Cliffs of Mohr... more

I liked this hotel but I couldn't help feeling that it was expensive for what you get. The hotel is quite new so it's clean and freah. The rooms are comfortable but lack luxuaries which you'd expect for the price such as Air conditioning and internet. I stayed for two nights with breakfast included and the breakfast on both mornings... more

Just returned from a weekend in Doolin with a group of friends - we stayed in Hotel Doolin and I'd highly recommend it - the rooms are very high spec with a double and single in each room. Really comfy beds and the best power shower I've ever had - great to clear a hangover after a very late night... more
