went with family last summer as part of a road trip through Ireland. the room was spacious and well serviced with a good sized bathroom. the only issue we had was with the single bed we had in the room which dipped somewhat in the middle making it quite uncomfortable. the whole hotel is served with free WIFI which was... Horseshoe House is located a 2 minute walk from Doolin's main pubs and restaurants. It is very close to the Cliffs of Moher which can even be reached by a great walk of around 2 1/2 hours. Of course, by car it only takes 10 minutes. Josephine and Paddy are wonderful people, both knowing lots about the region and area.... More

Everything was ok in this b&b, especially the breakfast with "healthy" alternatives. Just a couple of things: the room was quiet close to the road and I felt e little bit unconfotable. The second thing (but I understand, is completely subjective) is that I found the furniture heavy and according to an old style. Beside this, I appreaciated the stay... More

Josephine and Paddy could not do enough for us. They were a wealth of information about the area, when to go to the cliffs to avoid the crowds etc. Their home is clean and sufficient and right down the street from all the pubs and restaurants. A perfect location if you are going to the Cliffs of Moher.

Greta little B and B with great proprietors. Clean and close to attractions in Doolin including Doolin Pier and Cliffs of Moher. Great breakfasts and great place to base travel to southwest coast. Highly recommend it.

We spent a comfortable night on 12 June 2013 in this lovely B&B. Josephine was very welcoming and advised us on the various eating establishments and music sites in the lovely village of Doolin. We enjoyed the scenic walk down to the beautiful coast, crashing waves and rocks and then the evening meal and fantastic music in the pub. Josephine... More

Stopped at this B&B for two nights between our trip to the Cliffs and before heading to the Aran Islands. Josephine gave us great tips on where to eat, who had live music, and how best to see the Aran Islands. My husband LOVED the full Irish breakfasts and I enjoyed the fresh fruit and eggs. The room was cozy... More

This was our first B and B on our trip to Ireland. After a really long flight, it is just a short distance from the Shannon Airport. It was a wonderful one night's stay with a delicious breakfast. The traditional Irish breakfast was great. Josephine was an excellent hostess and was very helpful with traveling tips and suggestions. This is... More

We spent 1 night at the Horseshoe House B & B in Doolin, after visiting the Cliffs of Moher. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed, and a kettle and such for making tea and a bite to eat before bed. The bathroom was serviceable, but in need of an update. Josephine was an excellent hostess, and gave us... More
