Think I've said it in the title, but as a fairly experience B&B-er I have no hesitation in giving Dubhlinn House full marks. Everything you'd expect from a good value B&B; Joan and Martin were welcoming and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring west Clare, the Burren, cliffs of Moher, Aran... more

I have recently traveled for my first time out of the U.S. and my friend and I stayed at the Dubhlinn House while we were visiting the nearby attractions. From the very second we stepped foot in the house, we were welcomed warmly and felt at ease. The Reilly family offered several amenities and very comfortable sleeping arrangements. My future... more

This was probably our best B&B experience in Ireland, and that's saying a lot, as we had wonderful experiences all around. To start, when we arrived, Martin was very welcoming, and quickly explained that we could break up our combo Cliffs/Aran Islands ferry trip planned for the next day, and do the Cliffs portion right away, if we were quick,... more

Traveling with my 89 year old father, two brothers and 21 year old son, the Dubhlinn House was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed three nights and found this B&B a great place to relax, quiet and welcoming. The hosts, Joan and Martin were very helpful and knew the local area quite well. The rooms were spacious, clean, well... more

Dubhlinn House was the perfect stay for our Co. Clare coastal adventures. Joanie and Martin were very hospitable and welcoming, and their daughters were very charming. She shared her photos of her "highly publicized" birthday dress up party. We were even able to meet Joan and Martin in the evening at the local pub just up the street for some... more

Just returned from a 3 night stay in Doolin. B&B great value, good location and very helpful owners. Ideal base for Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and trip to Aran islands. Loved live music in nearby pubs, look forward to returning! more

Dubhlinn House was very cute and clean. We had two rooms and each had its own bathroom. The house was very serene, overlooking rolling fields. We slept very well and were greeted in the morning by the friendly Reillys and a delicious breakfast made by Martin. Joan Reilly was very helpful with sorting out a Cliffs cruise that we would... more

Arrived at Dubhlinn House a bit late - about 7pm. Had sent word ahead via email that we'd be a bit late before we left for our trip but we didn't hear back (I think very few people in Ireland check their email). When we arrived, I was greeted at the door with an "I assume you're unaware of our... more
