From our arrival to our departure, Martin & Joan made us feel welcome and comfortable. Dubhlinn House is charming with a lovely dining and sitting area. The little touches (umbrellas for guests' use and shoe-drying station) showed their consideration as well. We had a room upstairs which was cozy and comfortable. It had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside.... more

Martin and Joan and friendly, helpful and welcoming. So much so that at the last minute we decided to stay an EXTRA night and go to the Aran Islands for the day. Joan called the Ferry and reserved spots for us and gave us great directions to get there. Overall we really enjoyed starting off our trip with 2 nights... more

We spent three nights at Dubhlin House in Doolin. The room was fine, with an excellent bed, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Joan was away visiting her father, but Martin was helpful and entertaining, and he took care of us royally. more

We arrived in the rain a little later than the specified check in of 6:00 pm., but we were greeted kindly by Martin. We met Joan at breakfast the next morning. We found her to be cool, but efficient. There house was always full, so it was a bit hard to ask for any suggestions as they were so busy... more

Dear Reid Girl, At first we were very disappointed when we read your review, but then grew increasingly frustrated, as it appeared some issues could have easily been addressed had you raised them with us while you were here instead of writing them in a review, which we felt was unfair. We would like to address them now. You arrived...

Joan and Martin were spectacular. Joan had emailed some great tips, including a wonderful deal for the Doolin2Aran Ferry, so I was able to book passage before I got there. And our room was so cozy, especially through the rainy night. Breakfast was hot, filling and delicious and my veggie daughter completely cleaned her plate, having chosen the savoury puffy... more

We spent our first 2 nights in Ireland at Dubhlinn House and felt welcomed and comfortable from the start. Joan & Martin really have a knack for running a great B&B and take the time to offer their knowledge and answered all of our "tourist" questions no matter how silly they may have been...they are genuine good people and care... more

Joan and Martin are extremely friendly and hospitable. They go out of their way to welcome their guests and provide helpful information about interesting sites to visit, excellent restaurants, and local shops. They are located within minutes of the Doolin Pier where one can book a fabulous boat trip to see the Cliffs of Moher or the Aran Islands. A... more

This is a really wonderful B&B run by great people. The location is ideal. Easy short drives to what you want to see; easy walk to great pubs for excellent traditional music. Very helpful hosts gave clear directions for a drive we hadn't considered which turned out to be spectacular. Very good breakfast with several nice choices for vegetarians as... more
