We stayed for three nights in April at the Roadford House B&B in Doolin at very reasonable rates. It is located just over a hundred yards from McGann's and McDermott's, two of the three musical pubs in Doolin. The rooms are bright and airy, with great views over the countryside. Marian and Frank Sheedy are terrific hosts and their dog... more

We were a party of 8 and found the bnb perfect for a stop over when going to see the Cliffs of Moher. The little village of Doolin is pretty and quaint and the bnb is in walking distance to some nice traditional pubs with live music. The best pub we discovered though is on the other side of town... more

The Roadford House is a clean, bright, cozy little B&B right in Doolin. The owners, Marian and Frank, are so sweet. Our room was a great size, with nice linens and a very nice bathroom. It's a very quick walk to the 2 pubs, but a longer walker--about 15 minutes, to O'Connor's pub, which is probably the best in town.... more

We stayed here in mid-March. The room was very comfortable and Marian was a great host. The rooms sit above the Restaurant, and were clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant the next morning was excellent, and Marian's dog Beans was great (he even opened the door to to our room for us! Anyway - this B&B is a short... more

Good hotel on edge of Doolin but still walkable to McDermott's pub. Very clean with an excellent breakfast. While Accomdations are not top notch for the price it has hard to beat. more

The Roadford House was a clean, simple place on the edge of Doolin. We enjoyed our stay very much-- good shower and bed, nice view, friendly owners, and a fantastic breakfast. Since it was mid-December we were the only people staying there, but at breakfast they had the room all cheery and warm with a fire, and I had a... more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Roadford House this October. Marian was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, spacious and stylish. Their dog and 2 cats were delightful, too. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Lovely views, and you can easily walk to the pubs, which have great trad even during the off season. We... more

The Roadford House is a great B&B to stay at.and is within walking distance to two pubs in Doolin. Marian Sheedy is a wonderful host. The rooms are big, quiet and clean. The B&B also has a restaurant that Marian's husband is the chef and it is outstanding. As a side note they Sheedy's have a most loveable friendly Irish... more

Stayed one night at the Roadford House in Doolin. After arriving at Shannon very early in the morning we checked in at about 1:30. Everything was very clean and modern and Marian was so nice. The setting is peaceful and quiet and after a long travel was much appreciated. The morning breakfast was very good with plenty of coffee. I... more

Stayed there 3 nights and it was ok for a B&B. I assume that it is quite similar to every other place in County Clare - shuffling thru the American tourists as quickly as possible. The breakfast was ok, no seconds and they don't give kids the same amount as adults (they give less which is ok if your kids... more
