We stayed at the Doolin Lodge, August 2015. The staff was so helpful, there wasn't a question they couldn't answer about the local attractions, directions, etc. The rooms are unique, clean, ample space and there is a large library/activity room for general use that we loved. The breakfasts were made to order and delicious, highly recommend!!

Overall an enjoyable stay at the lodge in Doolin. A great location, very spacious and comfortable room. The breakfast area was busy but food was nice and staff friendly. The downside for us was the impersonal feel compared to other b &bs. We felt the set up was more akin to a (very) upmarket hostel. The room was noisy but... More

Stayed at the Lodge with my family overnight while visiting the Cliffs and Doolin. We rented an apartment as there were 5 of us. The apartment was very nice. It had multiple bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a kitchen. It was very clean and comfortable. There is free wifi in the complex which was great. The Lodge is located... More

This B&B is north of the Cliffs of Moher. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room with private bathroom. A full Irish breakfast is included in the room charge. Walking distance to pubs and stores. We only stayed one night, but if we could have stayed longer, we would have been able to see more attractions within a short driving distance.

Thank you for your recent review, we are glad to hear that you found everything to your liking. Yes, you really need more than one night in Doolin to see all that the area offers, one day is simpy not enough, I agree! Maybe next time you can stay for longer with us. Kind Regards, Deirdre & Niall O'Dwyer More

We had a wonderful time in Ireland. Doolin was the last stop. Unfortunately the Doolin Activity Lodge was rather an impersonal experience. First of all, look for Doolin Activity Lodge on the GPS. Fisher Street wasn't there on the GPS either. If you only look for the lodge then you land some place else. we had twin beds and honestly... More

Thank you for your review. We changed the name of our business last year and it hasn't fully filtered through all channels yet! Luckily Doolin is small, with one main road through a long village, we are located in the centre of this road so it's generally very easy for our guests to find the Lodge. Your room, like most of... I knew Doolin was a quaint area, exactly how I pictured Ireland to look and I wanted my hotel to be a part of that experience. Doolin Lodge was just that. Beautiful, with beautiful views! There was a horse and her colt grazing right outside my window. The staff was friendly and helpful and the complementary breakfast was yummy! When... More

Four of us shared the accommodation, with a room each. Clean & comfortable, and 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite). The large bedroom had 2 double beds, and a very spacious shower stall. Breakfast was good, and reasonably priced (€8) & we took advantage of it most days. It was an easy walk to Doolin's many pubs, all of which seemed to... More

This building appears to be a barn conversion. The lodge is in two buildings. Our room was big and comfortable with three double beds. The shower/bath was also very large. Everything was very clean. The shower doors were not in good shape - it made showering a bit difficult as they wouldn't stay closed or stay on their tracks. The... More
