The room was not exceptional but Margaret is the reason to stay here . . . Emohruo is also in a great location near all of the area attractions! Margaret was a great Irish hostess and the breakfast was great with scones right out of the oven. Try it and tell Margaret Hi from Iowa! I'd stay there again! more
"We arrived home last night after a wonderful trip. We were very fortunate to begin our stay in Ireland with you. Your kindness and hospitality were not to be surpassed throughout the stay and your Irish breakfast was the best of the trip." more
Really nice first night in Ireland at Emohuruo ("our home" spelled backwards). Close to Cliffs, to Doolin, and easy drive to the Burren. The proprietor is a really nice woman, who is very warm and helpful with her suggestions. This is not a luxury bed and breakfast, but you can't beat the warmth, location, and value. I told my brother... more
We are 13 people from Spain that stayed in Emohruo from 10th to 14th of August of 2007. Margaret, the owner, is a nice person. She makes happy to everybody. The breakfast is excellent. The home is 3 Km far to Doolin and 3-4 Km far to Cliffs of Moher. If you talk with the bus driver, the bus stop... more

Margaret welcomed us for our first stay in Ireland. We felt at home immediately: with a nice cup of tea we started our stay in Doolin. Three days without stress, very relaxing. Even with the rain falling outside, Margaret kept smiling and gave us nice suggestions. If you want to stay in Doolin: go and see Emohruo! You won't regret... more
Margaret Carey the proprietor of "Emohruo" is absolutely delightful and exhibits everything you've heard about Irish wit and hospitality. We stayed for one night in her lovely home. She pointed us in the right direction with helpful tips about where to go and what to see. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with a wide variety of choices. If your trip... more
We had a very pleasant experience with Mrs. Margaret Cary in Doolin, County Clare. She was the perfect hostess, greeting us at the door with the offer of a beverage and snack. She was concerned that our reservations for the subsequent Band B's may have been in error and called ahead for us to ensure we were all set for... more
