Legos and kids' movies made this a great place for my kids. We were the only ones in the family room so we had room to relax and unwind. Banana bread and french toast were delicious, Liz & Cormac were friendly.

Kid friendly B and B with toys for kids. Great breakfast but ......decor outdated, grouting in shower area was black in parts, shower caddy rusty, towels hard and worn. Ferry information most inaccurate. On owner's advice we went down to catch ferry before 10 am only to find out ferries to the islands are subject to tides and that morning... More

Stayed at the Killilagh House twice in a week last September. Our stays were sandwiched around two days at the Aran Islands. We met Liz and Cormac during our initial arrival in Doolin, they were both very personable, helpful and accommodating. Upon our return from the islands we started out of Doolin got about a mile (alright, a kilometer and... More

It was a busy week in Doolin and the new owner/managers took advantage by renting one of our two reserved rooms and planned on putting two 6o something men in the same small room. We refused and were, basically left on our own to find accomodations for one of us. The lady, "Liz" was nice and pleasant, but her boorish... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. The location is perfect you can walk to many restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was amazing! I recommend the French toast and the Banana Bread. The price was good for the weekend and the bed was comfortable. The décor is a little dated, but it gave it a nice homey feel. This... More

Stayed for two nights. Location is right across from McDermotts pub which has great music. Two other pubs that others reported as having good music are also within walking distance. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The rooms are clean, bed was comfortable, but the rooms themselves are in need of updating. Shower stall was very small... More

My wife and I stayed here May 2012. Reading the reviews, I think we must have caught them on a bad day. I didn't find the hosts to be very hospitable - when we showed up it took a while to find someone, and when we did it seemed like we were inconveniencing them. About all of the conversation we... My family stayed here in August for 2 nights and had an enjoyable visit. Hearty Irish breakfast every morning, or your choice of French toast, omelets, etc. Very plentiful. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Shower stalls are a bit small. If I had to do it over again, I would probably only stay in Doolin for one night. Not much... More

Warm, friendly staff, the rooms were spacious and cozy. No extra frill, but clean and simple. Breakfast is great and plentyful, served by a friendly Steelers fan :) I would recommend and would stay here again for sure.
