We stayed in Killilagh House B&B last Sept. while on a short visit to Ireland. From the start, we felt right at home. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had the best shower of our trip. The B&B is just 2 minutes walk from 2 great pubs that had live music sessions every night, McDermotts & McGanns. The... More

This a family run place right in the heart of Doolin. The owner Brihde and her family are wonderful. The family room accommodated myself, my husband, and three small kids with no problem. The breakfast was the best we had in 5 cities. Homemade baked goods, homemade marmalade, fresh ingredients, custom built breakfasts to accommodate the babes. He full Irish is to... More

Located equidistant between the Burren and Cliffs of Mohr and less than 50 yards from the best music/ pub in most of Ireland, McCanns, you can't go wrong. Rooms were large, clean, free wi-fi. They lit the peet stove when we arrived and made to order the best breakfast we had in Ireland this trip. Thank you Brid for the... More

Reading these fine reviews of Killilagh House brought to mind my stay in Sept. 09. Great room, wonderful Irish breakfast. The over&above part??? I asked Mike (prop.) What's the best way to get to the pier, I going out to the Islands.?" "Hang on," he sez, I'll give you a lift." Gave me a lift to the pier with the... More

We stayed here 2 nights - it was a great place and we were served a delicious breakfast each morning, I would recommend going to Doolin during season. it's a very small town and during season there will be more people and definitely more sessions at the pubs. We went in mid-March 2010 - Doolin was almost a ghost town,... More

Brid and Michael were warm hosts. The room was clean with a powerful shower. The living room was cozy with a nice fire. Breakfast was tasty with the added touch of homebaked goods. Our trip was made memorable due to the wealth of information that Michael supplied about the area including some hikes that we loved. There are two pubs... More

brid shannon does an excellent job of making sure her guests are comfortable and welcomed...her breakfast was outstanding, with a wide choice of food to choose from the rooms are quite basic and very clean, more in the style of a motel than a b&b the location can't be beat, being close to many pubs and restaurants More

Brid Shannon is truly an exceptional hostess. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our spacious rooms. Cozy lounge with fireplace. Walking distance to pubs with great food and music. The breakfast was over the top. French toast!!! One of the top B&B's of our trip. More

Lovely B&B, excellent location at just a stones throw away from two very lively Pubs. Triple room was very spacious with selection of teas and coffees. Hairdryer was provided which was unexpected. The Landlady was very accomodating with the price when one of our party was unable to come. Brilliant choice of hot breakfast, something to suit everyone. Doolin and... More
