This hostel was great and met every expectation we had. The owner was very helpful and truly went out of his way to help anyone in need. The rooms were big, very comfortable and were not overcrowded at all. The bathrooms were very clean as well as the kitchen and living room. The hostel was not far from town at... More

This hostel is quite nicely situated in Roadford, a short stroll from a couple of the most well known pubs in the Doolin area. The room and facilities is not much to talk about. It was small and basic. But clean and to our expectations for such a place. The host was a friendly and helpful guy, who made us... More

My daughter and I stayed for several days longer than planned due to Buddy. He is a fine musician and taught us many trad songs. We were the only guests at the time so our room was the only room constantly heated; Buddy had a fire blazing in the evenings for us. Very cozy.

My husband and I stayed in a top floor corner room with a private bath. Everything was clean, and a couple of things, such as the door frame to our bathroom, looked like they'd been recently repaired or replaced - it's a well-cared-for hostel. Even though it was the off-season and we were the only ones there that night, the... More

I stayed here last weekend with 2 friends. The hostel is in a brilliant location in Doolin, there's two pubs within a 5 minute walk, and its in a quiet area. The beds are comfy, and the staff are the most accomodating I have ever come across. We had booked a dorm room and a double room, and on arrival... More

He also showed us traditional dancing and gave us some good advices on the walks to the Chliff of Moher. the rooms are really comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing and home-like. we spent there just one night, but we wish we could... Me and two girlfriends travelled Ireland for a bot over a week. We hadn't.booked anything in advance, which means finding Flanagan's was purely by chance. We came from the Cliffs of Mohar and this was the first hostel with room for us. The area is beautiful, the atmosphere in the village relaxed and quiet but lively. Cows right outside the... More

I stayed at Flanagan's Hostel for the Doolin Folk Festival and spent a total of 5 nights here. The owner of the hostel, Buddy Flanagan, as well as his family, know how to make you feel right at home and provide you with complimentary breakfast and tea/coffee throughout your stay. The common room is very homely and contains a few... More

This hostel is brilliant, I stayed here with two friends and the owner Gerard couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. He is really friendly and has extensive local knowledge of the area and of the music sessions in the village. We even had a couple of tunes together! Just after we arrived he was giving Irish dancing lessons in... More
