We stayed in this bed and breakfast in October, 2006. Our room was small, but it overlooked the river which was roaring by the window from all the rain. We enjoyed our stay, but rarely saw the owner because their main focus is in the restaurant. When we arrived, we were shown our rooms and if we didn't have breakfast... more
We loved Cullinans. The location was great, the B&B was very nice and the restaurant was absolutelt delicious. Breakfast was our favorite part of the day, the honey lemon pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had. Dinner in the restaurant was also great. We could walk to all bars, shops, etc, and we know because our car broke down... more
Cullinan's is a great little B&B in the heart of town -- and reasonably priced for the room and breakfast. However, one of the reasons we booked here was the restaurant, which was closed. In addition, our room was overlooking a parking lot on both sides -- not the river, so we were also a bit disappointed about that. Suggestion... more
I recently stayed at Cullinan's with a small group. We booked a single room and a double. The double room was beautiful, clean, rustic with a beautiful bathroom and TV. The single room was also clean and nice, however it did smell musty. Great showers and linens. Breakfast was wonderful, such a beautiful room and great service. Best was the... more
We absolutely loved Cullinan's! It has a very homey and warm feel to it and the staff make you feel right at home. It was just what we were looking for: centrally located (in our opinion the best situated B&B in Doolin, right in the middle of "town" easy walk to pubs), warm, unpretentious yet nice accommodations, nice views, good... more
Our family of 4 (a teen and a tween) referred by another family. Without question Doolin, and this guesthouse, were the highlight of our 3 week trip to Great Britain. This location is superb for Cliffs of Mohr, for Aran Islands, but most especially for tooling around The Burren (an amazing area of Ireland). Our hosts were delightful and helpful,... more
We stayed here our first night in Ireland. The room was beautiful, bright and had a scenic view. Great shower! Flat screen TV. Comfy bed. Excellent food. Great service. We overslept in the morning and showed up 15 min late for breakfast. No worries -- we were served a gourmet breakfast without any fuss. You can walk to McGann's Pub... more
Our favorite spot. Our room was wonderful and overlooked the river. Beautiful view outside our full length windows. The breakfast was spectacular - try the pancakes. The owner was very accomodating and helpful. I can't wit to return. more
I stayed at Cullinan's in early December 2005. The breakfasts were amazing and the owner's of the home were friendly and accomodating. I read hear that someone said Carol was not friendly. I see no basis for that comment and I am guessing that the people who wrote the review were difficult people. Carol went out of her way to... more
