Travelling off season has it's advantages, especially when visiting this Western part of scenic Ireland. Doolin, known for it's music and the Cliffs, must be jammed in the Summertime , but was almost deserted in December. I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay than with Jim and Carol. Their modernized B&B, with their personal touches (air hinges to... More

I could not have found a better B & B in all of Doolin. Carol and James are the perfect hosts. We had reservations to eat in their three star restaurant but where late arriving. They recommended the pub across the street which had great food and lively music. Carol could not have been more accommodating. She arranged for a... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this guesthouse in November at the recommendation of my parents who had stayed here back in the summer. We had a lovely stay. The staff were very welcoming, and the guesthouse is well looked after. They provided a very personal service taking time to chat with us and recommend local things to do in... More

Great location. Good value for money . Comfortable . Quiet . Friendly . Just right !!! Our room was clean and comfortable. Because we arrived late in season the restaurant was not open in the evening. Having said that breakfast each day was very good , particularly if you selected the full Irish ! The pub across the road and... More

Carol and James couldn't have been nicer hosts. The food is gourmet quality - James is a master chef. The rooms are quiet and lovely. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the harbor in Doolin and only a few kilometers drive to the Cliffs of Mahor. Lots of other sites in the area. YOu can walk about... More

We had a wonderful stay at Cullinan's Guesthouse this Oct. Our room was very nice, large and clean with a double and twin bed. The entire B &B had a comfortable homey feel about it. Great location in Doolin. The restaurant was delicious! We had a great dinner as well as the top notch breakfast. It was the best food... More

This is my second stay here and was wonderful again. The room and location is perfect walking distance to everything around! Carol was wonderful hostess to her guests. We had dinner at their restaurant and best meal we had in Ireland. If in Doolin stay here, highly recommended!

I spend two nights at Cullinan's Guesthouse on September 30 and October 1. It was fabulous! The accomodations were delightfully comfortable and the view from our room of the country side and river was charming. We saw a stunning sunset right from our room! Carol was the perfect host - visiting with us and the guests each morning during breakfast... More

Stopped in Doolin on our trip down the coast from Galway. Lovely Inn in a small town. Convenient to the Aran Island and Cliffs of Moher ferries. Being of a "certain age" we requested a ground floor room (no elevator) which was provided. Carol and James were gracious hosts and very helpful. The restaurant in the inn is superb. Nice... More

We stayed in lots of places in Ireland and Cullinan's was one of the best. The guesthouse is tastefully appointed, the bedrooms very comfortable. There are public rooms to sit and enjoy a fire or a book. The included breakfasts are superb, even by Irish standards. Plus a fabulous dinner meal, in a lovely dining room, is right where you...
