Cullinan's itself is comfortable, with an excellent breakfast. Have the fresh fish of the day, whatever it is. The walls are pretty thin, though, and the wifi is quite slow. My impression is somewhat colored, however, by the overflow of tourists in the town all the time during peak season. Doolin is central to a lot of things worth doing... More

I spent a night at Cullinan's (and had dinner there too!) with my husband three days ago. Carol Cullinan is an excellent hostess and she is involved in every single aspect of the guesthouse she so successfully runs along with her family. We were assigned a room overlooking the river (#9) and the view was beautiful. It was clean, very... More

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Cullinans. We spent 6 days in Ireland and Doolin was our absolute favorite part of the trip. The Guesthouse is immaculate, it's quiet, and it's centrally located to the pier and a few shops. Best of all.....the brown bread at breakfast!!! The breakfast was all phenomenal, however I am determined to replicate their Irish... More

Really enjoyed this charming family run guesthouse. The food is as good as anything you will get anywhere. The husband in this family enterprise is the chef. Seafood is the speciality. Breakfast is also a treat. Freshly baked bread, unique touches to the staple irish breakfasts e.g. very nice smoked salmon, sour cream and rösti combinations. Highly recommended. Great location... My husband and I stayed here while attending a wedding across the road @ The Doolin hotel. We had a gorgeous room looking directly over the river, comfy beds and great hosts. We've eaten at the restaurant before also which is delicious. Highly recommended!

Stayed for 2 nights in July. Booked 2 rooms. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Good bathroom. Slept excellent. Great location in wonderful Doolin. Breakfast, which is included in the price, is outstanding! 5 or 6 excellent choices and whatever we tried tasted wonderful. Also had dinner in the restaurant at night. It was excellent! Would recommend to anybody and hope... More

The location is great for all the music places in town. Doolin is a traditional Irish music epicenter. Our room was clean, bright and roomy. TV maybe 2-3 channels, but in Doolin why would you be watching TV? There's Wi-Fi, it is slow like mine at home...but available. Nice amenities in the bathroom, though the pull switch for the warm... Cullinan's was our first stop on our trip in Ireland and it set the standard for wonderful hosts, great food and a beautiful place to stay. Carol was an exceptional host and James is an incredible chef. We were there for 3 nights and enjoyed each day. It is close to the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands and the... More

Stopped here on spec two weeks ago while visiting with my mother - we hadn't made a reservation for accommodation but boy were we delighted to stop here. Carol met us at the front door and was most open and inviting to us. The room was most spacious and the bath was almost as big as my own! The cleanliness... More

We've been staying and eating at Cullinan's for the past 10 years, and have never been disappointed. It's the perfect cross between an elegant B&B and a small, friendly hotel. The rooms are spotless, well appointed, and comfortable. The dining room is bright, airy, beautiful, (with a nice view) and the food is delicious. Dinners are gourmet and a little... More
