Only stayed at Doolin House for one night, but it was just what we were looking for. The room was large, bright, and clean. We were able to walk to McDermott's and McGann's pubs for the evening. Very pleasant hosts and a wonderful irish breakfast in the morning.

Its well located to hike to the cliffs of Moher and visit the pier. We enjoyed Doolin but were a bit disappointed by the room which is very basic and need some upgrade. WiFi was out of order, no soap or tea in room. The owner is a friendly woman who tried to do her best. Don't expect to have... More

Maybe because we had not booked in advance and just called in on the chance of a vacancy, around 4.30pm, we didn't have as good an experience as previous reviewers. Yes, our hosts were lovely. The room was spacious and clean, but we didn't get a basket of fruit or a snack to have with the tea, or shower gel... More

On our arrival we were presented with Irish Coffee, nice touch, and the was a full basket in the room of fresh fruit and snacks along with tea making facilities. Free internet was excellent and our host Michael was... More

My nephew summed up our experience as: Quaint lodging, and the owners made us feel like their number one priority. Large, clean rooms with great bathrooms. Walk to all things you want to experience in town. The perk: being woken up by the mooing of cows!!! Maureen Flynn

I loved my stay at Doolin House. It was my first time to County Clare and it was such a pretty and quaint coastal town! As an American who's been to Ireland a few times, I've been dying to see the sites around Clare and it did not disappoint. My friend recommended the place to me and the ambiance and... More
