I'm just back from a super break in the Burren where we stayed in this hotel. I couldn't speak highly enough of it. The setting is amazing with wonderful views over the Aran islands and the rooms immaculate. It is family run with a most friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and the owners were only too happy to...

This hotel is in a wonderful setting with views of the Cliffs and the Aran Islands. The walk into the local village is picturesque and not far if it's not raining too hard. We stayed in the main house which was rather quaint. Our rooms were very comfortable and the hotel has a charming atmosphere. It's a family run hotel...

We loved it! Set on a hil with views of the Cliffs of Mohr in the background, walking distance to town, comfortable modern room. A great choice if you are in the area.

We have stayed in the Aran View in 2010 and 2011 for the Music Festival in September. We plan to return there again this September. We find the hotel is close enough to the town without actual been in the busy area, so we get a good nights sleep after all the dancing.

Only bad thing: It's not really near the coast that much. The town of Doolin is a fifteen-twentyfive minute walk from the hotel. So if you plan on going to the pub at night, expect a walk, but it's absolutely beautiful countryside, especially beneath the stars. The staff were entirely friendly, and their dinner was absolutley phenominal. (Steak and warm...
