We came here for two days in September 2013 and stayed for four. Stunning views, comfortable rooms, endless hot water for long baths after hiking the Burren all day. Beautiful old fashioned dining room and bar with wooden vaulted ceilings. Top quality breakfast. Great base for music in Doolin, exploring Burren, Aran island, county Clare in general. Family owned and... More

This was my second stay at the Aran View. It was great. The four of us really enjoyed our time in Doolin and our visit to the Aran Isles. It was topped off my the frindliness and support of the owners of the Aran View! Skip Galway and stay in Doolin for your visit to the Aran Isles. If you... More

We stayed here for one night - the room was nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. It is a little farther out of town but that wasn't a big deal to us as we were driving. Food wise there is a restaurant and bar on the property but we found it to be out of our price range - we... More

The Aran View is a fine place to stay. It was clean, the staff was pleasant, the view was good and the breakfast was plentiful. Decor is a throwback to the 1970's, and the location is a little further out of Doolin than I would have liked if I wanted to walk back after enjoying the local music.

This is a well run B&B style hotel with the best ocean view in the Doolin area. It was a perfect hub for our Burren adventures. Plenty of free parking and a small, but beautiful bar that stays open as late as you. Free breakfast. Wifi only in public.

Definitely my favorite part of my 2 week trip was my stay at this hotel. Theresa , her daughter Sharon, Mikaella (sp?) are lovely souls. We stayed on the third floor in the very front room with a breathtaking view of the ocean, cows, sheep, and the Aran islands. I could have sat in that chair gazing out all day.... More

A warm irish welcome and a really cosy place to stay with great food and plenty to drink. Nothing was too much bother for any odf the staff. the only down, if this is one, is that its looking a little tired in the bedrooms and hallways. there are some great views and they are always open to a deal... We liked the Aran View so much the first time we stayed there that we decided to stay again when returning to the area recently. The hotel has stunning views of the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher and, on this visit, we were blessed with sunshine. Our room was spacious and comfortable with everything needed for a short break.... More

Myself and my wife enjoyed 4 nights in September in a beautiful hotel with excellent service and superb breakfasts. We have stayed here many times before and the reception is always top class. Good luck to John and Theresa and Sharon in the future.

Aran View is aptly named. The view of the Aran islands from the hotel is outstanding. It is ideally located for a trip to the Cliffs of Moher. There is lots of traditional music to be enjoyed in the local pubs. Aran View gets A+ in all categories. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The food was excellent, both... More
