Two of us stayed here as a base for fishing around the Clare coastline for two nights on 3 and 4 July 2014. Rate per night per single tent was €10. Weather was not great. We used the excellent facilities of the camper kitchen. We also used the upstairs recreational facilities. It is a very secure, quite, clean and well... More

This is an excellent camp site, the grounds are immaculate, the showers and toilets are spotless and the campers kitchen, dining and recreation are great and just what you need one a rainy day. Good clothes washing facilities and a basic shop on site, the staff are really friendly and willing to help in any way (typical west Clare welcome)... More

I'm just back from camping at Riverside for my second Doolin Folk Festival (yea-7 nights for the price of 6 ) The campsite is so well maintained, in a beautiful position and has really good facilities for campers, the showers are always hot and 5 minutes for 1 euro is plenty of time to shower and wash reasonably long hair.... Just back from camping trip on the west coast. This camp site is great, clean, within walking distance to pubs/restaurants and town only 10 minutes drive away. Kitchen has a fridge and tea making facility, you have to bring your own tea, milk etc, plenty of showers, washing machines and a shop on site for the basics, would have no... More

Just back from camping here for 4 nights whilst on a motorcycle holiday with 4 friends. For us it ticked all the boxes, central location for touring the west coast, clean, good showers although 1 euro for 5 minutes wasnt just enough after 8 hours riding however they were warm. We pitched along the river side and it was beautiful... More

Have just arrived back from staying here. Fabulous facilities, as previously mentioned showers were always hot and site is kept spotless. We pitched right beside the river (I didn't pick the spot) it was actually perfect until the last day when the wind was really high. Will follow the advise from a previous poster and go behind the hedge next... More

Beautiful camp site right by the riverside. Stayed two nights. Friendly staff, good facilities. Couple of minutes walk to the local pub Fitzpatricks Bar where you can get good food at reasonable prices. Music every night - starts early with light guitar ballads and then later with traditional music. Played Pooh sticks on route from campsite. Grass or hard standing... More

Cracking spot, very clean, nice and quiet, good facilities, close to good pubs and only a 15 min walk to the pier. Very reasonably priced. Only down side and its been mentioned before, that there is no ATM or proper shop near by, so come prepared :-) Cant wait to head back to this spot :-)
