We had a very nice stay at the Half-Door B&B. Ann was very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to walk to the pub at night and enjoy the great music. Doolin is a wonderful town and a peaceful getaway. We chose breakfast from a menu and the choices were very good.... More

Our three-night stay at the Half-Door B&B was a wonderful introduction to Ireland. Anne, our hostess, was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our convenience and comfort. Each morning, we chose our breakfast from a menu with several choices after enjoying juice, coffee, cereal, bread, and other treats. One of the... More

We had a great stay, perfect location, quiet but just a short walk to a couple of pubs. The room (the one with the fire escape) was lovely and allowed us to have private access to our room. The breakfast was great, the room spotless and the wifi worked ok for us. I guess the room might be a bit... More

Our first night in country was at the Half Door and Anne was incredibly friendly and very helpful with her favorites in town to make sure you get the most from Doolin. Rooms were perfectly clean and a fine size. My favorite part was the water pressure-there was plenty! Very refreshing compared to other B&Bs... nice location with plenty of... More

Room was wood paneled and rustic. Bathroom was clean and functional. Owners were very nice and served a great breakfast. The Wi-Fi worked fine and there was a pub a stones throw away. We crowded three adults into our room with luggage and were not crazily crammed together. Good value for the price

Great rooms. They were spacious and clean and very centrally located. We were in #1 room and when guests arrived after some time in a pub, it was very loud. We could hear everything and we could hear them taking a shower. It didn't prevent us from sleeping though so in the end it was fine. The free Wi-Fi didn't... More

Stayed here with two friends for a one night stop over on our way to the Cliffs of Moher. Very small town. Three minute walk to dinner and pubs. Stayed here on Rick Steve's suggestion. Not very clean. Room had a lot of dirty shelves. Couldn't put our things down without wiping furniture and shelves first. Had to order night... More

What a great way to start our honeymoon! We spent our first two nights at the Half Door in Ireland. We wanted a place that was walking distance to the local establishments and the Half Door filled the bill. It has off street parking which is also a plus. There is a nice sun room to lounge in, have a... More

This was our first B&B in Ireland and it was just lovely. It's location in the "upper town" was ideal, near two good pubs and within easy walking distance of the rest of the town, except the pier (there were really no places near the pier) where boats departed for the Aran islands. The menu was great, and breakfasts were... More
