I would like to thank you very much for our Eastern Bloc vehicle group visit for lunch at the Pelican last Sunday, 7th June 2015, as part of the SALT (Soviet Auto Luxury Tours) car rally weekend in Norfolk. The food was really excellent, your staff very welcoming and it was lovely to sit outside on your deck, enjoying the... More

Booked a couple of rooms for two couples at The Pelican on a Sunday in May as we were attending my Granddaughters christening in the next village of Bunwell. We were able to collect our keys early as the church service was at 2pm. The rooms were spotless and very nicely presented. As we spent most of out day and... More

Great place to stop, good food and a nice balanced menu cover a wide range of tastes, the draught beers on sale are excellent and varied being a freehouse. Comfy rooms nothing special but more than adequate. Plenty of parking. Not forgetting the beer shop next to the bar for the odd bottle of special boutique brewed ale, good local... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. We have a problem finding food due to Coeliacs disease and were looked after very well, even to changing the menu for us. Thank you Pelican

Family run pub with accommodation. This is a retreat in Norfolk where you get a flag stone bar with roaring fire in winter, but all through the year, a warm welcome. Good food, comfortable rooms, lovely setting

This Hotel has been Family owned by Derrick (Del) and Jackie for more than fifteen years. We were welcolmed on arrival on Sunday afternoon by their son Matthew and shown to our accomodation in an attached building with a separate entrance. Our upstairs room was clean, well-appointed and our home for the next three days and nights. Our main view... More

Stayed March 2015 for one night. £60 B&B Not wishing to be too unkind, but since they say it so prominently on their website, I really have to take issue with the idea that this a luxury establishment because by anyone's standard it is not. That said, it is an extremely welcoming pub/hotel and a bit above average for its... More
