The hostel is a very comfortable place. As soon as I walked in I felt good about it. Everything is kept very clean and in order and the people are friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. In addition to this, it is located at a great location, resulting in beautiful views on the hills surrounding the village from... More

I stayed at Fundalucia during the Christmas period December 2014 and had an absolutely wonderful time. I had intially planned to stay for three days but felt so relaxed that i stayed for about eight days. This place was more like a cozy home than a hostel wth spotlessly clean rooms, a lovely cozy lounge and kitchen area and a... More

We stayed here in March because we wanted to mix some culture in with our skiing trip to Sierra Nevada. Initially, we struggled to find the place because we were driving and it had become too dark, and the village of Quentar is also quite a confusing rabbit warren. That was no problem however as Axel, the caretaker/manager came to... More

I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived at this guesthouse, but I knew I made the right decision from the moment I walked in. They were incredibly welcoming and it feels less like a hostel or guesthouse and more like a family. It is small and quiet and the views from the outdoor terrace were incredible. The hike... More

We whole-heartedly recommend Fundalucia for groups of travellers or couples as we have stayed there as both and an amazing time. Warm and inviting, the houses are in great locations with wonderful views and hosts! We´re looking forward to going again!!

I spent a couple days in the small private cottage in the middle of November. Axel was incredibly accomodating and helpful. The weather was beautiful for hiking, and the town was incredibly quaint. Would highly recommend this property.

A stunning location in the hills above Grenada. Great walk to a nice reservoir which you can swim in and jump into if you're feeling adventurous. The staff at the hostel are so friendly and helpful and have excellent local knowledge. We would thoroughly recommend this hostel.

We had a double bedroom cottage in the village, which was perfect for us! It was quiet, private, had a lovely little balcony to have a coffee in the morning and a little snug of a sitting room with a TV and a sofa.

I treasure the memory of my stay at the Fundalucia Hostel in a special place in my heart. I happened to chose to stop by Quentar searching for some quiet time away from Granada. It proved to be a real turning point and one of the defining moments of my life. The generosity and presence I encountered from the people... More

It was very different to anything I was expecting, but I loved it. I wish I stayed there for longer. In just 2 days I managed to unwind away from all the modern day hassles, traffic and city life. The stay made me feel like I was back in time when communities were close and people were in touch and... More
