We stayed at "Lemazkeret" for two nights. The room was quiet, comfortable, and very uniquely decorated. It was well-equipped with a small mini-fridge, tea, coffee, some cookies... we personally brought food, stored it in the fridge and had a nice breakfast in the pretty yard. Would definitely go there again.

Highly recommended! We were a group of 7 friend + one baby girl. We had a great time in this peaceful quiet place. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The yard is lovely and has plenty is great for BBQ. Location is great - close to the airport, in a very nice town between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

We used Lemazkeret just one night because it was easy access from the airport and we were going south through the Negev to Eilat in order to cross the Jordanian border the next day. We slept perfect and had a private bathroom. The breakfast in the room was huge with all local recipes and tasted great. We weren't hungry for... More

From the pictures I saw on the internet, I liked the place. However, when I got there, and saw the area and the room, I cringed. For the price that they were asking ($135.00 per night), you can do much better. I suppose that each person has its own opinion, and therefore I am not condemning the place, but the... More

I found myself in a rustic environment, just as I like. My room was in the same rustic style, spotless, warm and decorated with taste; nothing was missing: air conditioning, TV, video, WIFI, kettle, coffee, tea, milk,etc..., fridge with cool drinks. I was warmly welcomed. As the weather was warm, I sat in the garden, big and full with flowers, very... More

It is rustic place and all the better for it. I arrived really late due to flight issues and was still warmly welcomed at stupid 'o' clock with a walk welcome. Breakfast is so big, too much for me, but I'm a double espresso and out the door person - it was all spot on. I'd love to come back... More

This 'Bed and Breakfast' is in a great location for those with a car, those needing to be in Mazkeret Batya, and without a doubt, it has the potential to be an outstanding place to stay. Sadly our experience did not hit the mark. First the positives -excellent location in quiet setting (there is an airbase nearby but all of... More

We went here for out first anniversary and were disappointed. On the positive side the grounds are very nice. The property contains numerous antiques and an old carriage. So for sitting outside and having a glass of wine with the sunset it can be nice. And it is walking distance from the old synagogue and the center of the town.... More

Lemazkeret is a Boutique Hotel with some historical structures (1883) and the nature of the place is rustic. As being such we used materials and objects that will adapt to the surroundings. I can understand that one of the many thousands of guests we had will not appreciate our style. I can only regret that it is so. The moment I... More

The place is set in a rustic atmosphere. Historical objects dating from the end of the 19th century (which is very old in young Israeli standards!) are put in display in the rooms and especially in the beautiful garden. This added value means that not only this is a great place to relax, but it is also interesting in its... More

We stumbled onto this quiet and friendly little town quite by accident as we searched on-line for somewhere to stay when planning a 3 day car tour from Jerusalem to Rehovot, following an 8 day bus tour of Israel. We wanted to experience Israel off the tour bus and Mazkeret Batya is absolutely the best way to do this. Was... More
