I stayed at Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge with my family between Christmas and New Years Eve 2014. We had the most refreshing, relaxing and inspiring experience. The Lodge itself is fantastic - really well organized, great management, happy staff, high quality and clean lodgings. The highlight for us was the food which never ceased to surprise - how they found all... More

We knew guides would take us out on tours but we were awed by Krishna's and Eric's knowledge, far beyond what we expected. Some outings were beautiful (night time, or sunrise, canoe paddling, jungle, pink dolphins), or fun (piranha fishing), others less so. When we were taken to visit the wood turning place, Nov' Arte, we bought six beautiful looking... More

I had such high expectations of this hotel after reading all of their positive reviews, but that turned out to be a disaster. I was inclined to give this hotel a 3 star review at the start, but while checking out, this review dropped to 2 stars, nearly a 1 star even. Let me start by naming the good things... More

We stayed at the Lodge in January and the experience was fantastic! We were picked up from Manaus airport and driven by a non english speaking driver for 3 hours to the Lodge. We both felt this was a great shame because there were loads of things on the way we wanted to ask questions about but we just weren't... More

This lodge is an all-inclusive, higher-end resort. You don't have to think from the moment you get picked up in Manaus until you leave; just show up for meals during the designated windows and on time for the multiple daily activities. This place is so well organized and enjoyable, it's likely to suit you even if you'd rather be doing... More

My husband and I stayed at Anavilhanas Lodge after Christmas. A member of the lodge will pick you up an drive you the three hours from Manaus, although you can also book a seaplane which is faster and more expensive. The lodge itself is rustic and beautiful. It is all you need in the jungle. The staff is helpful and... More

My friend and I stayed at your lodge last week (9-13 Dec) and want to tell you what a fantastic experience we had. You have thought of every little detail to make it perfect. .. Great maid service in the cabins -- twice a day! -- with candy every night .. Knowledgable guides with a good sense of humor ..... More

We spent three nights at the lodge Pre Cruise in November. Great way to experience the Amazon jungle. All the part day trips were well organized and informative. Don't miss the sunset trip - it is worth getting up for. Wonderful accommodations and facilities. Food was not spectacular but OK with a nice mix of local cuisine. WIFI a little... More

We had a fabulous experience at the Anavailhanas Jungle Lodge. Our family of three (all adults) stayed for 3 nights and every minute was wonderful. Everything (accommodations, food, guides, activities) is outstanding as other reviewers have indicated and we agree with all the rave reviews. The absence of mosquitos is a big plus. They also arranged a tour of Manaus... More

The Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is the perfect place to stay while exploring the Brazilian Amazon. Located on the banks of the Rio Negro, this lodge has all of the comforts while being in the middle of the rainforest. The guides all spoke English and were very knowledgeable about the area, wildlife , plants, etc.. We stayed for 5 days/4 nights... More
