You cannot do better. Outstanding. The room is excellent, the bathroom as well. The reception by the hosts warm and forthcoming. Four course dinner menu delicious. I will surely return and use Le Clos de Pierres Rouges as a centre for further visits to the beautiful region.

We stumbled into Le Clos des Pierres Rouges with sore feet and aching backs on our first day on a walk from Le Puy to Aumont Aubrac and came to paradise. Sylvie and Thierry provided a lovely room, a delicious meal and excellent company. We hope to be able to come back some time in the future.

We were greeted byThierry and Dyson the Newfoundland when we arrived - turns out to be the softest (and largest) dog in France. Thierry and Sylvie are delightful - meals are eaten together and Sylvie is an excellent cook. Although the house is an old farmhouse, the interior has been renovated in a very modern style. Thierry lit a very... More

We stayed in this great B&B on our way to Lyon. It is in the countryside in a lovely area of France. They will prepare you a wonderful 4 course meal with an amuse if you pre order. I highly recommend it the food was fantastic. Sylvie & Thierry were very helpful and nothing was too much effort. Thierry speaks... More

I stayed here overnight whilst walking the "way of St James" or the French Camino. It's a wonderful place and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. The meal served was restaurant quality. The cheese platter and dessert fantastic. Thierry the host has great English and happily rang and confirmed our new few days accommodation for us. The room... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early september 2013. From start to finish we had a wonderful time. The house has been beatifully renovated and the welcome we received from Thierry, Sylivie and Dyson (their gorgeous dog) was warm and genuine. The bedroom and ensuite were spacious, spotless and well equipped. Our intention was to dine in on the... More

In August my wife and I spent a night at Le Clos Des Pierres Rouges as part of a two week vacation in France. Though the location was a bit hard to find (we had a GPS, and were happy we did), and the access road was a bit narrow, the accommodations were great. This B&B has recently had an... More

Sylvie and Thierry couldn't have been better hosts! Their little hotel is modern, comfortable and the food offered delicious. Thierry makes his own breads, while Sylvie makes her own preserves and is the primary chef in the kitchen. This is a charming place to spend a night or more.

We walked a portion of the Chemin in September and selected to stay at Le Clos des Pierres Rouge. We booked the hotel, by chance, using booking.com. The experience was absolutely wonderful. Our room was spacious, spotless and a pilgrim's dream. We opted to dine with Sylvie and Thierry and what a wonderful choice that was. Gourmet food. Wow. We... More

We were walking the Chemin de St Jacques in September and went a little off-route to visit this chambre d'hote. It was the most enjoyable stop on our route. Our charming hosts took the greatest trouble to make us comfortable and served a delightful gourmet meal. The house is modern and in a lovely rural setting - our bedroom had... More
