We stayed two nights in Angiolieri and enjoyed the whole time - the hotel, the view, surroundings and staff are absolutely amazing. A special thanks to Antonio & Giuseppe & the kitchen staff, we really felt like royalty in this divine place. Rooms were perfect as well, pool area really calm and beautiful. Seiano is quite nice, not touristy at... More

My husband and I just returned from a two week holiday on the gorgeous Amalfi coast. We stayed at the Angiolieri for the first week, having been seduced by the web site, one-star Michelin kitchen, and 5-star-comfort promise. We were not in the least disappointed. In fact, we were intensely satisfied with the entire experience. Not knowing the coast when... More

We returned yet again to this fantastic place and yet again the hotel, staff and services on offer - everything - remain first class if not more so than our last visit. This magnificent boutique hotel is in a prime position with a fantastic view of the Bay of Naples and directly in front of Vesuvius. On arrival we enjoyed... More

We have returned to this lovely, stylish and perfectly run boutique hotel 4 times. We keep returning to it because you just can't fault the service or experience. It is a fantastic hotel with a real attention to detail. It is so convenient if you want to see all the sites (close to Pompeii, just above a port where you... More

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, good food. It's a bit of a walk down winding paths to the sea, where there are a few beaches, bars and restaurants. The path could use a good cleaning but this isn't the hotel's responsibility. They could do a few things better, like change over the CD which had been playing Barry White for... More

We had booked 5 nights on a special occasion and this hotel was recommended to us by a friend. We booked the best suite available and were looking forward to our stay. Upon arrival by car, no one to welcome us...so let us walk to the front desk! Check in ok but not overwhelmingly friendly. And when discovering the room:... More

We went to the Grand Hotel Angioleri this weekend. The hotel is nice, good view on the sea, not the best 5* ever but ok, like a 4*. Reception people were nice and welcoming. Room was small but looking pretty and clean. But i was shocked when i went for breakfast the day after. We went at 8pm. It rained... More

This is one of those places that could be wonderful but falls a long way short. We booked a superior room with views of the sea and Vesuvius. Wonderful view. The room was immaculately clean, but small and old fashioned. It may have been five star when first fitted out, but certainly not any more. Breakfast was ok, but nothing... More

Huge disappointment. Dogs barking all day and all night long - no exaggeration. Reception/concierge staff was hostile and aggressive after we voiced a complaint. The restaurant staff was nice, but the food was very disappointing considering the Michelin rating. We were served stale chips in the hotel bar. The surrounding buildings, not shown on the website are decrepit; not a... More

Dear Guest We wish to thank you for staying with us and for sharing your opinion on tripadivor. We would like to give some explanations, hopefully that will not be considered arrogant and insulting. There are dogs but they do not bark all day and night and the reception staff, that speaks fluent English, use to listen to the complaints... More

This hotel was spectacular; I do not understand any of the negative ratings. We did upgrade our standard room to one with a seaview overlooking Mount Vesuvius – it was glorious and worth the extra money – we stayed there for 4 nights, so it was nice to wake up to that. They have free wifi everywhere in the hotel... More
