When we arrived we were given our room number and two rags (towels) for the pool. Our room was outdated and cramped, but the views from the balcony were pleasing to the eye. The Décor throughout the hotel was so 60`s. The dining room on the ground floor was hustle n bustle, we were invited to our table where two... More

Excellent hotel with everything we could need during our stay on a Thomas Cook holiday in early August 2015. We found the staff really friendly and welcoming. Food was very traditional, local and delicious - helped by the staff with our 10 year old daughter. Very well placed for local sights such as Naples, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri. Whole... More

Hotel situated on the busy main Sorrento road.Take your life in your hands crossing this road as Italians do not observe zebra crossings.Very noisy road traffic means you need to be deaf, hard of hearing or wear ear plugs.Book rooms overlooking Vesuvius for the view and away from the hotel entrance where nightly functions keep guests awake until the early .Reasonable... To start with I do not believe this hotel deserves it's 4 star rating. Maybe 30 years ago when everything was new.. It has a bit of a faulty towers feel to it. Even so, if you have a car, and can get the room at a reasonable price (or use airmiles as we did) it is in a great... More

The Moon Valley is situated in a village near the small town of Vico Equense in a hilly area with busy roads running past. However the hotel itself, though not top class, is clean and friendly. Our room was larger than average probably due to being transferred from our original choice of hotel. There was a large comfortable double bed and... More

Two weeks here in November when the hotel is mostly quiet, although weekend parties of Neopolitans can make things rather noisy. Rooms were functional, and rather old fashioned but clean, and had balconies - some of which include sea views, although those facing the opposite directions had the mountains. Breakfast was the same buffet choice everyday, with a range of... More

Have just spent 2 weeks in this Hotel.Beautiful views but terrible location. No where to safely walk in the evenings, pavement in a disgusting state of repair and no street lighting. Rooms ok but cleaning staff do not know how to clean. One of the guests had to be moved because his bed was riddled with Bed Bugs and his arms and... More

This was the second time in 11 months that we had visited the hotel. We were in one of the newly refurbished room - which while still fairly basic- had everything you could need. The food was still ordered the day before but that's much better than standing in line and raking through buffet food that that been out for... More

This hotel is located in the area of village Vico Equense, it takes 10 minute walk down to the train station, from where you can go to Sorrento or Naples, but it will take 20 minutes walk back to the hotel as the hotel is situated half way up the hill, it is not suitable for the elderly. The hotel... More

Lovely hotel, great view of bay of Naples, beautiful pool and surroundings. But a few niggles. Coffee at breakfast was only warm. There was a small charge for wi-fi, which should have been free. Couldn't believe there was a charge to use the pool. No scotch whisky behind the bar - should have been restocked after asking for it on... More
