Firstly a huge 'merci' to Janine and Daniel for the hospitality received. The accommodation was superb and traditionally french, in a fantastic location and absolutely ideal for visiting the numerous Normandy sites. Janine provided excellent local knowledge and a fantastic breakfast to prepare you for the day ahead. The selection of home made jams was endless as was Janine's patience... More

We stayed at Le Roulage in September. Janine and her husband Danny could not have be nicer or more accommodating. Restoration of the home was wonderful as we felt we were truly in France at last! The rooms are large and quite comfortable with each having its own bath. We chose this bed and breakfast because it only accommodates 2... More

From the moment we arrived at Le Roulage, we were afforded some of the nicest pleasures of our month-long journey through UK, France, Germany and Austria, thanks to Jeanine and her Husband. (Jeanine speaks very good English, but her husband does not,) Our room was comfy and spacious, with a wonderful private bath.....all redecorated in impeccable taste. The breakfasts were... More

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. Janine was very friendly and the Maison is beautiful. They have done so much work inside and out of this beautiful estate. Breakfast was wonderful!!! Janine thinks of the little things that made our stay so special. My husband practiced his french and Janine was kind enough to speak English to me.... More

This is a wonderful B&B. My husband and I enjoyed the cozy rooms, beautiful garden, and French countryside. Janine, the owner, is super hospitable and welcoming. She offers her homemade jams and jellies with fresh croissants and baguettes every morning for breakfast. Janine also gave us some history on the area, which beaches would be most historically appealing to us.... More

When my husband and I arrived and was greeted by Janine, we felt like we had known her our entire lives. She speaks excellent English and she just made us feel so welcome. We spent three nights in a perfectly clean big room and private bathroom. Every morning it was a pleasure seeing Janine as she was so bubbly and... More

Janine welcomed us into her lovely home and we had a delightful three nights at this beautiful French B&B. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and the breakfasts were very nice too with homemade jams a bonus. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very goodwhen we were there so we couldn't spend as much time in the gardens as we would have... More

I have to agree completely with the reviewer "always searching" that Le Roulage and the hosts Janine and Dan are wonderful. We had a large room with antiques, a fantastic breakfast with 4 homemade jams, a gourgeous garden, a great bathroom and warm hosts.(Janine speaks English) We felt that the price of 70 euros was totally reasonable for the quality.... First, the hosts, Janine and Dan, were wonderful! (Well, we only saw Dan from a distance, but sometimes the best host is a distant host, no?) Seriously, Janine was the ultimate hostess, and welcomed us with open arms. The restored 18th-century manor house and grounds were simply perfect. First, there was plenty of parking for our rental car! Second, our... More
