Had a lovely three night break here. The location is great. Great walks and lovely beach nearby. Also there is a good pub and bistro nearby. Spectacular views and grounds at the hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant 1 night. Should have eaten there all 3 nights. The food was fantastic. Would definitely come again.

We enjoyed a really excellent Sunday lunch with delicious food and very good service. One of our party was vegan and the chef had gone to a lot of trouble to prepare a special meal for him that was interesting, beautifully presented and tasty. So often as a vegan, eating out can be a very disappointing experience, but this was... More

Visited Tremfan for my birthday and it was a fantastic break. We arrived late due to getting stuck in traffic, when we arrived late staff did not rush us to the table to eat they took us to our room and told us to relax and come down to the restaurant when we were ready. Food was amazing, steak was... More

I have stayed in many B&B's/hotels in the Abersoch area over the past 20 years. This is my favourite by far. Stayed in the sea view room. Clean and spacious with excellent views. Good quality bedding and pillows. Management always have a coal fire going in the small hotel foyer. It is particularly nice sitting here on the leather chesterfields... More

We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting family in Abersoch. First impressions were great. Wonderful location with amazing views of countryside and the bay. We had lovely sunny weather for the Easter weekend. The grounds of Tremfan Hall are lovely. The Hotel itself is like stepping back in time with original features and period decoration. Our room which overlooked the... More

We had a lovely afternoon at this delightful hotel. The staff were welcoming & the atmosphere comfortable & relaxing. The three course meal was delicious & the portions very generous. We were not hurried although they had another sitting later on. We will be returning there again soon.

We approached Tremfan on a cold, wet , February afternoon and hoped that we would be welcomed to this old house by a roaring fire. We were not disappointed. The oak panelled hall had leather chesterfields round the fire! The Edwardian house was beautifully decorated maintaining many original features. It was the first day open after the winter break and... More

On entering the hotel you are greeted by a roaring open fire,... More

We went on a beautiful Sunday in September, ideal to appreciate the lovely grounds and vista. We both had the pate, which was delicious, and with ample quantities, then I had the beef and Kay had the lamb tagine. The beef was perfectly done, as were the vegetables, and the tagine was wonderfully spicy, with very tender lamb and delicious... More
