Decided to visit the Outlet at Gretna gateway today and fancied having a decent pub lunch thought if we had a decent lunch no need to have a big meal for our tea so something with chips was on the cards. We decided to try the Gretna Inn on entering the premises I nearly went straight back out because the... More

We popped in for food while visiting the retail outlet. It seemed reasonably quiet for a Friday afternoon but the service was dreadful. We were handed our menus and told to sit where we like. Two other tables arrived after us and had orders taken before us.....so we left after 10 minutes of being ignored as staff chatted amongst themselves... More

Called in needing something to eat on Saturday evening after a day out, four adults, a six year old and a one year old. Our food was great, reasonable prices, and the staff were very friendly, even gave our little one a free ice cream toy. Place was clean and not too busy (in the restaurant side). We'll be back... My Husband and I were here for lunch on Valentines Day, having just read reviews from other customers, I am so annoyed, some of these reviews are complete and utter garbage, so so untrue, (Maybe they should dine in Harrods) we had no complaints at all, place very busy, very clean, friendly pleasant cheery staff, and the food was delicious,... We have stopped here on several occasions while travelling from the Midlands to visit my parents in Perthshire. From being a good stopover for a quick appetising meal or snack, it has deteriorated to being very ordinary. My meal of Mississippi chicken was like salty chicken nuggets and my husband was similarly disappointed with his chilli beef burger which had... More

Fried hamburger in a dry bap and undercooked oven chips, the food was uninspiring, some of the staff were really nice, some weren't. Very disappointed, not much else to say, I expected much more in such a historic place
