This is a lovely B&B with fantastic views of the Mawddach Estuary. Our room was lovely and breakfast was very nice with delicious fruit and pancake options (as well as lots of others). We were made to feel very welcome over our 2 nights which we used when walking the Wales Coast Path.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the B&B, very nice breakfast with stunning views. Room very nice, was nice to see natural products in the room. Had great weather and walked into barmouth which took about 1hr 20. Owners friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely weekend camping on the estuary site, views are stunning. Staff can not do enough, wanted to see about kayaking in the area and no hesitation from staff to look on line and call a local place for more info for us.The toilets and showers are very clean and we can't wait for our next stay : )

We visited The Slate Shed for our Wedding Anniversary as I was home from work in Saudi Arabia. The fact that it was Dog-friendly was a huge plus as our rather elderly German Shepherd probably needed the break as much as we did. Sarah and John could not have been more accommodating, even recommending a fabulous restaurant down the road... More

Spent 2 nights here and wish we'd booked longer. Lovely setting, great room (Miri Mawr) with fantastic view down the estuary, this room also has an amazing bathroom!! We travelled with our dog, who was also made to feel very welcome, with his own little welcome treat. Such a nice homely feel and superb breakfasts. Highly recommended!!

We had a fabulous weekend camping at Graig Wen. We stayed in the family field (valley view) as we have a trailer tent. The views are amazing from the site and there is so much space around the pitches you feel completely alone! Yes as the previous poster said there are only 2 showers, which we found completely clean (and... More

We're so pleased you enjoyed your experience of camping on the fields below the Slate Shed B & B at Graig Wen. It's a great place to really get away from it all. We look forward to seeing you again with your friends in August. More

On the recommendation of friends we stayed at the Slate Shed last night in 'Bran', and we're already planning a return trip. The room was beautiful, so stylish and just our taste. And what a view - right out over the estuary and mountains beyond, we could have just sat looking out of the window. The ensuite bathroom is gorgeous... More

We were recommended The Slate Shed by some friends and they were right! We stayed for two nights at the beginning of June - arrived after a very wet journey to find our way barred by the house cat in the driveway - who just wanted to say hello and was happy to be picked up and moved out of... More

We stayed for the 2 nights. Absolutely loved this place. Great location for exploring, nice and cosy room. Delicious breakfast and wonderful view from the breakfast room. Sarah gave us tips what to do and where to go and every staff member we met were friendly and very helpful. We stayed in Bran room - big & comfortable bed, nice... More

We stayed at the Slate Shed for 3 nights 2 weeks ago and had an excellent time. Nestled in the trees on a hillside overlooking the Mawddach estuary, it was an ideal spot. With a quirky 1970s vibe, the rooms were stylish and very comfortable, with added extras like Pure Lakes toiletries and a cafetiere of coffee when needed. Sarah,... More

Thanks for a great review, glad that you enjoyed the bird life on site. If you come and stay with us again its well worth a trip over to the dyfi estuary to see the ospreys. More
