...I ate a whole box of Magnum ice-creams when we were there, I was that relaxed! It is a special place. If you visit, you must look after it. You are made very welcome and are able to enjoy everything as if it were your own place.

We had a four night break in the Caban. The caban is situated in a wooded glade away from the main campsite. There are two Yurts also situated in the woods but there is loads of space between them all infact it's like being there on your own. The caban has a double futon bed which you can make up... More

Such a lovely stay! We had a short break for three nights in the Slate Shed, and were made to feel very welcome from our arrival. Everyone set out to make our stay perfect, and were helpful without being overbearing. The staff are very knowledgeable about the local area, and we were even given money-off vouchers for our visit to... More

We have just got back from a three night stay in the Caban at Graig Wen and I have to say we enjoyed every single minute of our stay. The staff and owners did everything in their power to make you feel welcomed and looked after. The caban itself is really well kitted out, had everything you could need. There... More

Just back from a weekend at Graig Wen campsite after a four year break. It's a beautiful area and well worth a visit (even when it rains!). Staff are really helpful and the new showers are a big improvement (although two for all the campers really isn't enough). We stayed at on the lower camping fields. Unfortunately the pitches have... Just got home from 3 nights staying this time in wall corner. We brought friends with us this time and had a great stay. The weather was a bit wet but being able to have a campfire meant we stayed warm. We cycled to barmouth for fish & chips on the harbour and also visited the blue lagoon which was... More

We have just stayed two nights at Graig Wen in Miri Mawr. We were made very welcome on our arrival and enjoyed a really good breakfast on both mornings, enhanced by the panoramic view from the Caban. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom spacious with a large modern shower cubicle .We had a great view from the... More

We had high expectations but were very disappointed when we saw the room and for the following reasons:- Sidan was so small it could not accommodate even the smallest of wardrobes. Our clothes were hung on some wooden hangers placed on a metal bar. Again due to size there was only one chair in the room which had to placed... More

Thanks for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed our outstanding location, high quality breakfasts and personal service. We do consider the pricing of our rooms carefully. The room you chose, Sidan, is our smallest room which is stated on our web site. More spacious rooms with estuary views are also available. The large Velux skylight is also clearly shown... More

Comfortable beds, cotton sheets and a view - what more could you want? Though a little expensive, this really is worth a visit if you want to explore the Mawddach estuary. Bikes available for hire and load of books and helpful staff to guide you. Very clean, very organised and a great breakfast. A huge selection of DVD's available for... More

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Snowdonia mountains and Mawddach Estuary from our stylish, four star Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Snowdonia National Park. All rooms have modern en suite facilities and an eclectic mix of vintage furnishings and modern classics. Two rooms, Bran and Miri Mawr, have stunning estuary views and all our guests can enjoy the breathtaking scenery from our communal Caban room and day lounge. Relax over a drink from the honesty bar on the terrace or choose a cosy window seat. The former Victorian slate cutting shed has had a 21st century make-over with slate floors, bespoke furniture, massive wooden beams and warm Welsh rugs. You can walk directly through our wild woods and meadows to the Mawddach Trail, as seen on BBC Countryfile and Julia Bradbury's Railway Walks. All rooms have free wifi and flat screen TV/DVD players. Seren is a a ground floor room with accessible wet room. Sidan can be set up as a twin room but we do not have any family rooms and welcome children aged 10 years and over to our B&B. There are self-catering lets adjoining which are suitable for families. We welcome dogs and have 2 friendly dogs ourselves. The Slate Shed has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and we enjoy helping you make the most of your time in Snowdonia National Park. There are many excellent local pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes drive or a beautiful hour long walk along the estuary. Bike hire is available for you to pedal to the pub!
