Travelling by bicycle with my Bro in Law, we booked 2 rooms here for our second night. As he booked these I have no idea of the cost. We arrived really late & had to order dinner as soon as we walked in the door to make sure we got some! It was well worth it! Seafood Pasta followed by... More

We ate here on the recommendation of the B & B we were stopping at, with the warning don't order three courses. We ate in the conservatory, which was light and airy; the staff were welcoming and friendly. We decided to skip the starters although they very tempting. The main courses were large but beautifully presented and tasted fantastic, the... More

My daughter and I had a lovely, comfortable and good sized room (with a double plus single bed), good ensuite although shower not the most powerful but adequate. All staff really friendly and helpful. Just a couple of minutes walk from waters edge of Moray Firth, we had some lovely walks along there and ended up at the well equipped... More

The hotel presents very good value. You get a lot for your money. Whilst you would be justified in taking issue for a hotel with a higher price tag, this hotel is priced low but still provides a comfortable stay in a pleasant environment. Although located a bit outside of Inverness it is situated close enough for those visiting the... More

Stayed one night visiting the Black Isle. Nice, reasonable sized room with good shower. Owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A bit unusual to leave the main entrance and short walk along pavement to rooms! Both evening menu and wine list very good and both well priced. The food quantities are TOO large for most people and although... More

Visiting the Black Isle for the first time we were booked into The Station Hotel in Avoch. A fine place to stay, very well refurbished hotel with en-suite rooms of a good size, the owners, Lorraine and Richard Comfort are so helpful and friendly and their staff are well trained and efficient. The range of food available is excellent, well... More

Think again if you expect this to be a typical stuck in time Station Hotel. It is run by an amiable couple, Richard and Lorraine Comfort, their staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, nothing is too much for them. All rooms are refurbished to a good standard. Our en-suite was a good size, the shower fast and efficient. The bed... More
