My wife and I recently stayed here for two nights and we had a lovely, large, confortable room with everything that you needed and more. There was tea and coffee and even some sweets in a jar and we thought that the plastic tray in the bedroom for your shoes or walking boots was a great idea. The bed was... More

Warm, welcoming reception. Breakfast and dinner served by the delightful Holly an absolute asset to the team. All the villagers we met were so welcoming. An ideal location to relax and spend a few days exploring. Definitely recommend to our friends. Thank you. Rees & Hazel james

My husband and I stayed here last weekend for our wedding anniversary. We had a lovely warm relaxed welcome by Deb then were shown to our room. The room was beautifully presented, clean and well equipped as was the en suite. The food was beautifully cooked and the service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay. I... A former pub recently converted into a B&B only business located ideally for walkers on Offa's dyke this was a strangely soulless place. Coming into the empty bar, one room has been converted into a restaurant dining area was an odd experience. The new furnishings in the bedrooms and the dining area is sort of urban chic, which is totally... More

We stayed here for one night to break our journey up to North Wales. We found the host very welcoming and stayed in a lovely large clean room with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed dinner, especially the lamb and found the prices very reasonable. Breakfast was good, cooked to order. the location is very peaceful and we had a... More

We have just enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay, food was lovely and plenty of it. Lovely quiet location with nice walks in the village. We were in room 4 which was spotlessly clean and very light and airy having views to the back and side and nicely decorated. All areas of the Crown were spotlessly clean. Thank you Debbie... More

We have just returned from a very peaceful 2 night stay at the Crown Inn, Debs our host made us very welcome. Our room was extremely comfortable and the food was good, and the fact that it is licensed(though not a pub anymore) means that you can enjoy a drink with your meal and not worry about driving afterwards.A very peaceful... We stayed here for 2 nights, food was amazing and a very peaceful setting. We were in room 2 which was spacious and comfortable. However it was let down by the shower which went from hot to cold and dribbled out rather than being powerful. The instructions were faded and unreadable so you had to work it out yourself! Our... The Crown Inn is a hidden gem in the Shropshire countryside. Debbie and Lindsey were very warm and welcoming and put us at ease from the start of our stay. We stayed in room 1 which was very clean and the bed really comfortable leading to a good nights sleep. We enjoyed the company of our fellow guests over our... More
