My husband, daughter, son-in-law, 2 granddaughters (2 1/2 years and 4 1/2 years) and myself stayed here 3 nights during Easter week (2014) Anne is a very welcoming and gracious hostess and provided us with a wonderful candlelit dinner on our first evening and an incredibly delicious, full Irish breakfast each morning. Anne and Michael's home is so inviting. The... More

This place is amazing. My family stayed here to attend a nearby wedding in Ballyvolane House and I can honestly say that the house and hosts were truly wonderful. Thank you Anne for the great reception you gave us and the absolutely delicious breakfasts!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying here last night. Nothing about this place disappointed me, a genuinely warm hospitality, in a carefully restored house with exquisite taste in furniture and decoration topped off with the heartiest of breakfasts. The rooms are big and spacious with lovely little touches that set the place apart from other B&Bs and most hotels... More

We have just returned from a truly restorative mini break in a tranquil country setting, just north of Cork. It was our great good fortune to stay at Ballinterry House near Rathcormac, with Ann and Michael, who could teach other hosts how to do it properly ! From their warm welcome to our reluctant goodbyes, we were treated to first... More

We enjoyed a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Ann and Michael's very special B&B. Beautiful location, excellent accommodation and great food. Ann looked after us so well, we will certainly return. Jim and Annmarie Dublin

This is a real find. An old rectory that has been lovingly restored and is a listed building. The restoration is stunning and simple et the same time and you feel like this could be how the house was in Georgian times. The service from the family was incredible and within an hour, we felt comfortable and like we were... More

A really special B&B. Ann and her family made us very welcome. Luxury bed and linen along with fine bathroom and loads of hot water. Be sure to be hungry in the morning... breakfast is quite a feast! Easy access from/to Cork.

We stayed at Ballinterry as we were attending a wedding close by in Ballyvolane, it is about a 5 minute drive away. The house is about 300 years old and very tastefully restored with understated but beautiful furniture.Ann was exteremely helpful before our visit and sent us exact and easy to follow directions. We were sorry to have to go... More

I stayed in Ballinterry House in June 2012 for two nights. It was marvellous. The house and its rooms are beautiful, and the love and dedication Ann and Michael have put into its restoration  are immediately evident. The hospitality shown by both Ann and Michael is above and beyond the call of duty- numerous small extra touches combine to multiply... More

We stayed at Ballinterry House for one night in July 2012 when attending a wedding in Ballyvolane House. Ann had been very happy to email me the answers to all my questions in advance, including the directions from Cork airport which are very straightforward. We got a great warm welcome from Ann including a pot of tea and homemade cake... More
