We stayed here for three days on a walking tour on the Western Way. We were very satisfied. The room was not too large but adequate for our needs. A good filling breakfast was was included and they also serve excellent evening meals which we had on two of our evenings. They didn't serve on the third evening for some... More

Passing Leenane we stayed here for a night. Beautifully situated, view on the sea, lovely garden. I cannot comprehend those negative critics on tripadvisor. Yes, there was no WLAN and no TV in the rooms, Both could be found in the lounge that was cosily and lovingly furnished. The host's obvious thought is to bring people together. Do I need... More

My boyfriend and I are touring around Ireland and this place has been our favourite place to stay! We had an incredible and friendly welcome, everyone was friendly and nice. WiFi is available in the sitting room only, which is fine when you're there to enjoy the area and not sit in your hotel room on your phone all day.... More

The B&B is on a small hill overlooking the village with magnificent views over the water and mountains. I had a twin room with a small bathroom and comfortable bed. There was a kettle and tea/coffee/milk in the room. The room was small with no space for a chair so I took my book to the very small sitting room... More

The welcome of Brian was nice! Also the room was bright and nice - fantastic view on Fjord. But.... No WiFi and TV in the room, water pressure much too low, sitting room was the only place you could have WiFi - but it didn't work efficiently. In the morning a fire bell was ringing extremely loud - but nothing... More

Didn't stay in the guesthouse but the restaurant was recommended to us in Westport. Wife had salmon and I a strip steak. Simply excellent. Wished for more wine by the glass offerings. Only one was available. Wife's desert was superb. My baked cheesecake was a bit too dry.

We stayed in the Portfinn for a couple of nights in the hope of being able to climb Mweelrae. Unfortunatly the weather wasn't kind to us so we had to opt for low level walks instead. The staff in the lodge were very knowledgable of mountains in area and gave us advice on best walking for the weather . Our... More

This guesthouse offers magnificent views and great proximity to the town, but the service was even more stunning. The first sign of a good location is the accounts from other patrons who were returning to this same place once again, which is always a tribute. The dinner was excellent and although we over stayed closing time in the dining room... More
